Észak-Korea két rövid hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakétát indított kedden – közölte Dél-Korea egy nappal azután, hogy öt év óta a legnagyobb közös hadgyakorlatot kezdte meg az Egyesült Államokkal.
A dél-koreai vezérkari főnökök egyesítette bizottsága arról számolt be, hogy két rövid hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakétát észleltek, amelyeket a Keleti-tenger irányába bocsátották fel Dél-Hvanghe tartomány Jangjon településének térségéből reggel 7 óra 41 perc és 7 óra 51 perc között.
Phenjan vasárnap két robotrepülőgépet indított egy tengeralattjáróról a „Szabadságpajzs” elnevezésű közös amerikai-dél-koreai hadgyakorlatok kezdetének előestéjén.
Észak-Korea szerint az indítás célja „nukleáris elrettentő képességeinek ellenőrzése” volt, miközben bírálta a két szövetséges közötti gyakorlatokat.
Az ilyen katonai gyakorlatok, amelyek a két szövetséges szerint Phenjan növekvő fenyegetéseivel szemben hivatottak fellépni, rendszeresen kiváltják Észak-Korea haragját.
Phenjan ezeket a manővereket területe elleni megszállás főpróbájának tekinti, és válaszul „megsemmisítő” fellépést ígér.
Phenjan 2022-ben „visszafordíthatatlannak” minősítette atomhatalmi státuszát, és az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsának határozatait megsértve rekordszámú ballisztikus tesztet hajtott végre.

A rakéta a japán és dél-koreai hadsereg beszámolói szerint 5700 kilométeres magasságban összesen 900 kilométert tett meg egy óra alatt, mielőtt a Japán-tengerbe csapódott. Károkról egyelőre nem adtak hírt, noha a japán kormányfő elmondta, hogy a fegyver Japán kizárólagos gazdasági övezetén belül csapódott a Japán-tengerbe.
A szombati volt Észak-Korea első rakétatesztelése azóta, hogy január elsején egy rövid hatótávolságú rakétát lőtt ki.

Észak-Korea tavaly több mint 70-szer hajtott végre rakétakísérleteket, köztük számos alkalommal interkontinentális ballisztikus rakétával (ICBM) is, megsértve ezzel az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsának vonatkozó határozatait.

Törökország és Szíria között egyre feszültebb a hangulat. Ankara nemrég bejelentette egy katonai művelet megkezdését, és számos kurd katonai bázist támadott meg. A szíriai terroristák nem haboztak válaszolni – november 21-én megtámadták Gaziantep városát a határ közelében.
A sajtó szerint a terrortámadást a YPG/PKK szervezet tagjai követték el. 5 rakétát lőttek ki Szíria északi részéről a határ menti Gaziantep város Karkamish körzetére. Törökország belügyminisztere nyilatkozott a helyzet kapcsán. Elmondása szerint a támadásban három ember, köztük egy gyerek vesztette életét, 10-en megsérültek. A rakéták egy középiskolába, lég lakóházba és egy kamionba csapódtak.

A rakéták kilövésére órákkal az után került sor, hogy befejeződött az Egyesült Államok és Dél-Korea tengeri hadgyakorlata a Koreai-félsziget keleti partjainak közelében. A gyakorlatozáson az Egyesült Államok haditengerészetének Ronald Reagan nevű, nukleáris meghajtású repülőgép-hordozója is részt vett. Az észak-koreai hadsereg szombaton figyelmeztetett, hogy a Ronald Reagan megjelenése a Koreai-félsziget közelében jelentős negatív hatással van a térség biztonságára.
Phenjan szombaton leszögezte: az Egyesült Államok katonai fenyegetéseire reagálva önvédelemből hajtotta végre az eddigi rakétakísérleteket, amelyek nem jelentenek közvetlen veszélyt a légi közlekedésre vagy a szomszédos országokra.
Egy kedden kilőtt, közepes hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakéta – 2017 óta először – elhaladt a japán szigetvilág fölött. Az ENSZ határozatai megtiltják Észak-Koreának a ballisztikus rakéták tesztjét.

A rakétákat az észak-koreai főváros térségéből bocsátották fel – idézte a Yonhap dél-koreai hírügynökség a vezérkari főnökök egyesített bizottságát.
A japán miniszterelnöki hivatal korábban a Twitter közösségi oldalon arról írt, hogy Észak-Korea feltehetően újabb ballisztikus rakétát bocsátott fel.
Az ENSZ határozatai megtiltják Észak-Koreának, hogy bármilyen hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakétákat teszteljen, amelyek közül néhány nukleáris robbanófej hordozására is alkalmas.
Az Egyesült Államok és a NATO is határozottan elítélte a kísérletet.
Phenjan kedden is indított egy közepes hatótávolságú ballisztikus rakétát. Ilyen eset utoljára öt évvel ezelőtt, 2017-ben történt, amikor egy észak-koreai rakéta átrepült a japán szigetvilág fölött. Phenjan néhány nappal később nukleáris fegyverkísérletet hajtott végre.
Közben az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsa New York-i rendkívüli ülésén nem tudott közös álláspontra jutni Phenjan keddi akciójával kapcsolatban.
Geng Suang, a kínai ENSZ-nagykövet helyettese az Egyesült Államokat tette felelőssé Észak-Korea magatartásáért, mondván, hogy Washington a múltban nem reagált megfelelően az ország atomfegyvermentesítési intézkedéseire.
Linda Thomas-Greenfield, az Egyesült Államok ENSZ-nagykövete eközben azt mondta, hogy Észak-Korea a Biztonsági Tanács tétlensége miatt felbátorodott a cselekvésre. Hozzátette: Washington továbbra is kész tárgyalni Phenjannal.
A nagykövet később Twitteren közölte, hogy a BT tagjai az ülés lezárása közben értesültek újabb két észak-koreai rakéta indításáról, és felszólították Észak-Koreát, hogy „hagyjon fel a vakmerő, provokatív és a helyzetet tovább súlyosbító magatartással, térjen vissza a párbeszédhez”.
Az észak-koreai külügyminisztérium csütörtökön közleményt adott ki, amelyben az Egyesült Államokat bírálta, amiért „indokolatlanul” az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsa elé utalja az észak-koreai néphadsereg „jogos ellenintézkedéseit a Koreai-félszigeten a katonai feszültséget fokozó dél-koreai-amerikai közös gyakorlatok ellen”. Phenjan a közleményben nem tett említést a csütörtöki „rakétatesztről”, de azzal vádolta meg az Egyesült Államokat, hogy „komoly fenyegetést” jelent a térség stabilitására az, hogy a Ronald Reagan repülőgéphordozót a Koreai-félsziget előtti vizekre vezényelte.
A Yonhap hírügynökség arról számolt be, hogy a Ronald Reagan repülőgép-hordozót a feszült helyzetre való tekintettel csoportosították át a Koreai-félszigettől keletre fekvő vizekre.
Az atommeghajtású hordozó „szokatlan” visszatérése a jelentés szerint a szövetségesek védelmi felkészültségét hivatott demonstrálni.
Az Egyesült Államok és Dél-Korea szerdán négy föld-föld rakétát indított a Japán-(Keleti)-tenger felé, hogy ezzel is jelezze, képesek elrettenteni Phenjan bármilyen agresszióját.

A felvételt Hennagyij Korban, a város biztonsági tanácsának vezetője tette közzé. „Szeptember 3.: ötből öt. A Szhid légvédelmi erőknél a fiúk – mint mindig – kimagaslóan teljesítenek.
