A jelentés szerint a pénzszállító jármű hátsó ajtaja ismeretlen körülmények között kinyílt, miközben az Oak Park városrészben, az Austin Boulevard mentén haladt, és három készpénzzel teli zsák hullott az útra – számolt be róla a NY Post.
A Brinks vállalat közlése szerint 50 és 100 közötti számú helyi lakos kapott az alkalmon, és rohamtempóban kezdte el összeszedni a szétszóródott pénzt, majd gyorsan elmenekült a helyszínről.
A becslések szerint körülbelül 300 ezer dollár tűnt el a zsákokból.
A helyi hatóságok, a Village of Oak Park tájékoztatása szerint eddig nem történt letartóztatás az ügyben.

Az előzetes információk szerint a tűz azt követően keletkezett, hogy a vezetékek ráestek a szerelvényre. Hogy ez hogyan történhetett meg, egyelőre nem tudni. Kigyulladt egy autókat szállító tehervonat Hollandiában, ami kárt okozott a sínekben, és több napra leállt a vonatközlekedés, számolt be a NOS kiadvány.
„Két nap múlva újraindul a vonatforgalom Breda és Rosendal között. 9:30-tól ismét közlekednek majd a vonatok. Az Etten-Leur-i tűzesetet követően leállították a forgalmat”, – áll az üzenetben. Éjjel-nappal folynak a pálya helyreállításával kapcsolatos munkálatok.
A tűz jelentős kárt okozott, mert a szerelvény autók szállított, körülbelül 40 autót semmisítettek meg a lángok. A tüzet néhány órával az esetet követően sikerült megfékezni. Senki sem sérült meg.
A leégett vonatot és autókat részletekben szállították el. Ezt követően megkezdődött az útjavítás: egykilométeres szakaszon szükséges a hálózatok javítása és a vezeték cseréje.

A vámellenőrzés során a kárpátaljai fuvarozó átadta a kísérő okmányokat, amelyek szerint humanitárius rakományt, 2 raklapnyi, 32 doboz, közel 600 kg egészségügyi felszerelést és terméket (gyógyszert), szállít Ukrajnába10,6 ezer euró értékben.
A szállítmányt egy ukrán jótékonysági szervezetnek címezték. A fuvarozó szóban arról biztosította az ellenőröket, hogy nem szállít olyan árut, amelynek szállítása az államhatáron keresztül tiltott vagy korlátozva van.
A határátkelő dolgozói azonban úgy döntöttek, alaposabb vizsgálatot tartanak a gépjárműben. A csomagtérben 100 csomag Tramadol gyógyászati terméket találtak (1000 db tabletta dobozonként), amelyek kartondobozokba voltak csomagolva. Mint kiderült, a fuvarozónak nem volt engedélye a kábítószert tartalmazó gyógyászati készítmény határon át való szállítására.
A tramadolhydrochlorid hatóanyag egyébként szerepel a kábítószer, pszichotróp anyagok és prekurzorok listáján. A kormány által elfogadott határozat értelmében a termék a megfelelő tranzit- vagy exportengedélyekkel behozható Ukrajna vámterületére.
A fuvarozóra Ukrajna Vámkódexe 471. cikkelyének 3. része alapján jegyzőkönyvet állítottak ki, a gyógyszert lefoglalták. A jogszabály háromszáz adómentes minimálbérnek megfelelő pénzbírság kiszabásáról és a tiltott áru elkobzásáról rendelkezik.
Egyébként interneten egy doboz Tramadol (1000 tabletta) ára 10 000 hrivnya, tehát 100 doboz hozzávetőleges összköltsége eléri az egymillió hrivnyát – számolt be Kárpátaljai Vámhivatal sajtószolgálata.
