Nagy tűz ütött ki egy nyugat-londoni raktárban kedden. A helyszínre a legutóbbi hírek szerint legalább 150 tűzoltó vonult ki, a tűzoltóság súlyos incidensnek nyilvánította az esetet.
A tűzoltóság közleményében azt írták, hogy a tűz „egy raktárból és üzlethelyiségekből álló kétszintes épületben keletkezett”.
A tűz okáról egyelőre nincs biztos és hivatalos információ.
„Az épület körülbelül háromnegyede jelenleg lángokban áll” – tette hozzá az LFB a Sky News beszámolója szerint.
Később Pat Goulbourne londoni tűzoltó parancsnok közölte, hogy a helyszínen súlyos incidensnek minősítették az esetet.
„Ezt a döntést azért hoztuk meg, mert gyanítjuk, hogy a szerkezeten belül tűzijátékok és palackok vannak tárolva” – tette hozzá a parancsnok, aki szerint ennek tükrében „minden tűzoltó biztonságos távolságba vonult vissza, és most nagyobb távolságból oltják a tüzet” azért, hogy garantálják a személyzet biztonságát.
A londoni tűzoltóság emellett közölte: a környék lakóinak azt tanácsolták, hogy tartsák zárva ajtókat és ablakokat a nagy mennyiségű füst miatt. Emellett azt írták, hogy az első jelentések a tűzről helyi idő szerint reggel 8.55-kor érkeztek be hozzájuk (ez utóbbi abból a szempontból érdekes, hogy a brit lapok már csak délután számoltak be a tűzről, és akkor nyilvánították súlyos incidensnek a tüzet is).
„Ez egy elhúzódó esemény lesz, a tűzoltók egész nap oltási műveleteket fognak végrehajtani” – közölte a tűzoltóság egy közösségi médiás bejegyzésben.

Az ukrán katonai hírszerzés drónjai csapást mértek a Lukoil orosz vállalat olajfinomító üzemének raktárára az oroszországi Nyizsnyij Novgorod-i területen fekvő Ksztovo városában.
A hírszerzés közlése szerint négy drónnal támadták a létesítményt, és mind célba talált jelentős károkat okozva. Andrij Kovalenko, a Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) központi adatközpontjának vezetője a Telegramon arról tájékoztatott, hogy a ksztovói olajfinomító évente 15-17 millió tonna kőolaj feldolgozására képes, a negyedik legnagyobb Oroszországban. Benzint, gázolajat, kerozint, bitument gyárt. A vezérkar megjegyezte, hogy az olajfinomító részt vesz az orosz hadsereg ellátásában.
Roman Mrocsko, a déli Herszon város katonai közigazgatásának vezetője közölte, hogy reggel az orosz erők újabb dróncsapást mértek a régióban lévő Antonyivkára, egy ember meghalt a támadásban.
Vitalij Kim, a szomszédos Mikolajiv megye kormányzója arról tájékoztatott, hogy Mikolajiv városában egy magánvállalkozást ért orosz rakétacsapás az éjjel, amely két nő halálát okozta.
Oleh Kiper, Odessza megye kormányzója arról adott hírt, hogy Oroszország drónokkal támadta meg a régióban lévő Izmajil térségében a kikötői infrastruktúrát, aminek következtében épületek rongálódtak meg.
Az ukrán légierő közlése szerint az éjjel Oroszország 57 drónt indított Ukrajna ellen, ebből 29 megsemmisült, 14 pedig eltűnt a radarról.
A vezérkar reggeli helyzetjelentésében azt írta, hogy az oroszok támadásainak száma szinte minden irányban nőtt, a legtöbb a Donyeck megyei Pokrovszk közelében volt. Az elmúlt nap folyamán 193 katonai összecsapás volt a frontvonalon. A kijevi katonai vezetés szerdai összesítése szerint az orosz hadsereg ukrajnai embervesztesége hozzávetőleg megközelítette a 835 ezret, az ukrán erők kedden megsemmisítettek tíz orosz harckocsit, 29 tüzérségi rendszert és 57 drónt.

Az orosz megszállók szerdára virradó éjjel az Odessza megyében Reni dunai kikötőt támadták kamikaze drónokkal, aminek következtében károk keletkeztek a kikötő területén – közölte Andrij Jermak, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetője a Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint az elnöki hivatalvezető jelezte, annak következtében, hogy egy orosz kamikaze drón két fémhangár jellegű mezőgazdasági raktárba csapódott, két traktor lángra kapott. „A közeli raktárban lévő takarmányliszt is meggyulladt. A tűz 10 négyzetméterre terjedt ki. Szerencsére senki sem sérült meg az ellenséges támadás következtében” – írta Andrij Jermak.
Közben Ihor Plehov, Reni város polgármestere a helyi médiának nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy megrongálódott a régi elevátor épülete, a silók egy része és a három kikötői gabonatároló raktár. Megsemmisült egy új gabonaraktár, amelyet az egyik helyi vállalkozó már majdnem felépített – tette hozzá, megjegyezve, hogy azt a napokban kellett volna üzembe helyezni. „Nem volt kritikus tűzeset, a rendkívüli helyzetek szolgálata dolgozik a kikötőben. A városban lakóépületekben nem esett kár” – húzta alá a városvezető.

Rejtett nyersanyagokat találtak Ukrajna több tengeri kikötőjének területén. A lefoglalt ásványok összértéke csaknem kétmilliárd hrivnya – jelentette az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat az Unian szerint.
Megállapították a talált vasérctételről, hogy egy orosz oligarcha, Aliser Uszmanov cégéhez tartozik, aki a Kreml legfelsőbb katonai-politikai vezetésének tagja.

Emberi maradványokat találtak aukción elárverezett bőröndökben Új-Zélandon. A bőröndöket egy család vásárolta meg, miután egy aucklandi aukción megnyerte egy tárolóhelyiség tartalmának tulajdonjogát.
A maradványokat akkor találták meg, amikor visszatértek az otthonunkhoz, és elkezdték kipakolni a vásáron megszerzett holmikat – írja a BBC.
Az eset még múlt hét csütörtökön történt, mikor egy aucklandi család megnyerte egy helyi raktározási cégtől az egyik raktáruk teljes tartalmát. A holmik között az NzHeraldnak nyilatkozó egyik környékbeli szerint a bőröndök mellett több gyerekjáték és babakocsi is volt.
Egy másik szomszéd a lapnak azt is elmondta, hogy az út túloldalán állt, mikor a család felnyitotta a bőröndöket, és látta, ahogy a család hirtelen pánikba esik. Több szomszéd pedig arról számolt be, hogy irtózatos bűz volt. A család nem sokkal a történtek után elhagyta a házat, amire egy közeli hozzátartozójuk vigyázott egy darabig.
A rendőrség gyilkosság gyanújával indított nyomozást, és próbálják azonosítani a maradványokat. A hírek szerint egyelőre nem tisztázott pontosan, hány ember maradványait találták meg. A rendőrség szerint a családnak vélhetően nem volt köze a gyilkossághoz.

Hatalmas robbanás rázta meg kedden Libanon fővárosát, Bejrútot – számolt be a CNN, miután a kikötőtől nem messze kigyulladt egy tűzijátékraktár, majd fel is robbant. A város fölött vörös füstfelhő lebegett és a robbanás erejét mutatja, hogy még a helyszíntől 10 kilométerre található épületekben is kár esett.
Az egyik szemtanú, aki néhány kilométerrel távolabb volt, azt mondta a CNN-nek, hogy olyan volt, mint egy földrengés, majd a lakás horizontálisan megrázkódott, az ajtók kivágódtak és kitörtek az ablaküvegek.

Initial reports were that a car and gas pump were on fire and people were trapped in the car. Battalion Chief 3 upgraded the incident to a potential structure fire, bringing Ceres Engine 18 to the scene.Crews arrived and found a car that had come off of Highway 99, struck a gas pump, and caught fire.
