Az amerikai Delta Airlines egyik Boeing 737-eséről leszakadt a szárny egyik darabja repülés közben, és egy lakónegyedben zuhant le. Mindez ugyanakkor szerencsére nem okozott problémát, és a személyzet észre se vette a tartozék elvesztését addig, amíg le nem szálltak.
Helyi idő szerint szerdán kora reggel az észak-karolinai Raleigh városának lakónegyedében lezuhant valami az égből. Mint utóbb kiderült, az Atlantából a Raleigh-Durham nemzetközi repülőtérre tartó Delta Airlines Boeing 737-ese vesztette el a szárnyának egy részét, a fékszárnyat.
Ez utóbbit a Delta Airlines szóvivője is megerősítette. A fékszárny egy helyi lakos kocsibehajtójának közepén landolt, mindössze néhány méterre az illető autójától. A földet ért repülőtartozékról fotók is készültek a helyszínen:
A bal szárnyról „a jelek szerint levált” fékszárny nem akadályozta a repülőgép biztonságos leszállását Raleigh-Durhamban – közölte a Delta Airlines szóvivője, aki a New York Post szerint azt is elmondta:
a gép személyzete csak a landolás után vette észre, hogy elvesztették a repülő egy darabját.
„Miután a repülőgép biztonságosan leszállt, megfigyelték, hogy a bal szárny hátsó fékszárnyának egy része nincs a helyén” – mondta a szóvivő, aki szerint együttműködnek a hatóságokkal a fékszárny visszaszerzésére irányuló „törekvésekben”, és az esettel kapcsolatos vizsgálatokban is.
A fékszárnyakat a fel- és leszállás során használják a gépek arra, hogy segítsék a lassulást és a magasság megtartását. A jó helyen ülő utasok sok esetben láthatják is működésüket (de a jelek szerint most senkinek sem tűnt fel, hogy valami nincs rendben az egyik fékszárnnyal).
A New York Post emlékeztetett arra is, hogy tavaly a Delta Airlines-nál volt egy hasonló eset, amikor a vészcsúszda zuhant ki repülés közben úgy a gépből. Ráadásul a csúszda később „bizarr módon” egy olyan tengerparti ház előtt bukkant fel, amelynek tulajdonosa egy ügyvéd, aki történetesen éppen annál a cégnél dolgozik, amelyik a Boeinget perli a gépeiknél tapasztalható újabb és újabb biztonsági problémák miatt.
De emlékezetes volt az az eset is, amikor tavaly egy ablakkeret szakadt ki landolás közben a légitársaságnál.

Négy ember tartózkodott a gép fedélzetén, amely a keleti partvidék hegyei között zuhant le – jelentette a Yonhap helyi hírügynökség a hatóságokra hivatkozva.
A baleset helyszínén három holttestet találtak.
A haditengerészet megerősítette, hogy a fedélzeten tartózkodó négy ember, két tiszt és két altiszt meghalt. A haditengerészet közölte, hogy nyomozó csoportot indított a további részletek felderítésére. Civil áldozatokról nem érkezett jelentés – írja az MTI nyomán a hirado.hu.
A tűzoltóság 17 járművet és mintegy 40 főt küldött a balesethez.
A dél-koreai haditengerészet 16 darab P-3C típusú repülőgépet üzemeltet, amelyek tengerészeti felderítő és tengeralattjáró-vadász feladatokat látnak el. A 16 repülőgépből az első nyolcat 1995-ben állították szolgálatba.
A mostani az első ismert baleset, amelyben ez a típus érintett.

A gép helyzetét jelenleg nem ismerik, keresési művelet zajlik.
A pilóta és a fedélzeten tartózkodó tiszt időben katapultáltak, és a mentőhelikopter gyorsan kimentette őket. Mindketten könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedtek, életveszély nem áll fenn.
Az amerikai haditengerészet hivatalos vizsgálatot indított az eset körülményeinek tisztázására.

Repülőgép-balesetet szenvedett egy pilóta és kutyája az Egyesült Államokban. A férfi egy kisgéppel repült a parthoz közel, amikor meghibásodott a gép és lezuhant. A pilóta a kutyájával kimászott a roncsok közül, és a partra úszott. A balesetben senki sem sérült meg.
A vízbe zuhant egy kisrepülő Kalifornia partjainál vasárnap délután.
A pilóta egy egymotoros Piper PA-32 Cherokee Six típusú repülőgéppel haladt a part mentén, amikor a gép Rancho Palos Verdes mellett a vízbe zuhant.
A pilóta és a fedélzeten utazó kutyája túlélték a becsapódást, kimásztak a süllyedő roncsból, és 150 métert úsztak, amíg partot nem értek.
A balesetet többen látták a partról, és értesítették a hatóságokat. A mentőcsapat helikopterrel és egy parti egységgel közelítette meg a helyszínt, a férfit és a kutyáját épségben találták meg a parton, egyikük sem sérült meg.
A Szövetségi Légügyi Hivatal szerint az 1981-es repülőgép motorja hibásodhatott meg.

Egy kisrepülő csapódott egy minnesotai házba az Egyesült Államokban, a gépen tartózkodó három ember meghalt a balesetben. Az otthon tartózkodó házaspár és a macskájuk csodával határos módon nem sérült meg.
Kisrepülő csapódott egy minnesotai házba szombaton késő este a duluth-i repülőtértől nem messze. A Cessna típusú gép a ház tetejének zuhant, majd az udvarán állt meg – írja a CBS.
A balesetben a gépen tartózkodó három ember meghalt, a házban lakó házaspár és macskájuk viszont sértetlenül úszta meg az incidenst.
Jason Hoffman a Minnesota Public Radio-nak elmondta, hogy a gép átszakította a háztetőt; ő egy zseblámpát kapott fel és az első dolog, amit észrevett, miután eloszlott a por egy kisrepülő kereke volt az ágy lába mellett.
A ház nagy részében komoly károk keletkeztek, a repülőgép roncsa Hoffman kocsija és a garázs között állt meg.
A rendőrség az áldozatokat a 32 éves Alyssa Schmidt, a 31 éves Matthew Schmidt és a pilóta, a 32 éves Tyler Fretlandként azonosította.
Az amerikai Szövetségi Légügyi Hivatal és a Nemzeti Közlekedésbiztonsági Hivatal vizsgálatot indított a baleset körülményeinek tisztázására.

A baleset következtében a parkoló, valamint több jármű is kigyulladt. A tűz eloltásához számos tűzoltóegységre volt szükség. A hivatalos jelentések szerint a parkolóban nem tartózkodott senki.
A repülőgép a milánói Linate repülőtérről Szardínia irányába tartott, a felszállás után nem sokkal történt a végzetes baleset.
