Anton Herascsenko belügyminiszteri tanácsadó a Telegramon videofelvételt tett közzé arról, hogy szombaton Kijev egyik lakóparkjában egy magas beosztású vezérkari tiszt ittasan szolgálati fegyverével hadonászik, majd lövést ad le a közelben játszó gyerekek irányába – számolt be vasárnap az rbc.ua hírportál a videofelvételre hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a konfliktus azzal kezdődött, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkarának egyik alkalmazottja rokonával a Kazka lakóparkban részegen balesetet okozott. A létesítmény biztonsági őrei megpróbálták megnyugtatni a férfit, de az nem engedelmeskedett, és fenyegette az őröket. A videó szerint egy lövést adott le a szolgálati fegyveréből. A golyó kis híján eltalálta a lakópark bejáratánál játszó gyerekeket.
Az eset kapcsán vasárnap reggel Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter a Facebook-oldalán azt írta: „a parancsomra belső vizsgálat indult annak azon incidens valamennyi körülményének tisztázására, amely során az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkarának tisztje – az egyik osztály vezetője – olyan cselekményeket követett el, amelyek nem csak fegyelmi, hanem bűncselekménynek is minősülnek.”
A miniszter jelezte, hogy már létrehoztak egy vizsgáló bizottságot, amelynek élén az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnok-helyettese, Jevhenyij Mojszjuk altábornagy áll. A nyomozás idejére a tisztet felfüggesztették a szolgálatából – tette hozzá. „Ha bebizonyosodik az a tény, hogy a tiszt cselekménye súlyos következményekkel, nevezetesen gyermekek életének és egészségének veszélyeztetésével fenyegetett, mindent megteszünk a méltányos büntetés érdekében” – szögezte le Olekszij Reznyikov.
