Kárpátalján, az Ungvári járásban romák botokkal támadtak a területi toborzási és szociális támogatási központ (TCK) munkatársaira. Az esetről egy helyi újságíró számolt be a Telegram-csatornáján, az incidensről készült videót pedig közzétette.
Vitalij Glagola beszámolója szerint egy férfi kényszersorozásra tett kísérlet során konfliktus alakult ki a romák és a TCK képviselői között egy településen az Ungvári járásban.
A videófelvételen látható, hogy a tömeg botokkal támadt a katonákra, valamint betörte egy mikrobusz ablakait. Az összetűzés során a támadók megpróbálták kirángatni az egyik sorozótisztet a járműből.
A helyszínre érkező rendőrségnek végül sikerült megfékeznie a tiltakozókat – közölte az újságíró.

A napokban bejelentés érkezett a rendőrségre egy verekedésről Beregszász romatelepén.
A Beregszászi Járási Rendőrség operatív nyomozócsoportja azonnal elindult a hívásra. A helyszínen kiderítették, hogy a telep két lakója rossz viszony miatt provokált konfliktust egy 62 éves szomszéddal. Az elkövetők odarohantak a sértetthez, felváltva baseballütővel és bottal ütötték különböző testrészein. Amikor a férfi elesett és eszméletét vesztette, a támadók ismeretlen irányba menekültek. A 62 éves sérült férfit azonnal az intenzív osztályra szállították. Szombaton reggel a férfi meghalt a kórházban.
A rendőrök azonosították a bűncselekményben érintett személyeket. Jelenleg a felkutatásukra és letartóztatásukra irányuló intézkedések folynak. Az elkövetőket akár 10 év börtön is fenyegeti.

Bernben, Svájc fővárosában számos olyan esetet fedtek fel, amely során romák visszaéltek ukrán útlevéllel – számolt be a helyi Nau hírportál.
Legalább tíz roma család csalással vagy kenőpénz átadása segítségével szerzett ukrán útlevelet, és azokat szociális segély igénylése során használta fel Bern városában.
„Minden romát azzal gyanúsítanak, hogy csalással vagy kenőpénz segítségével szerzett ukrán útlevelet. A családok valószínűleg egyáltalán nem a háború elől menekültek, mert soha nem jártak Ukrajnában, vagy legalábbis nem rendszeresen” – áll a cikkben.
Bern város bevándorlási rendőrségének vezetője, Olekszandr Ott megjegyezte: „Néhány embert már megállítottak, és jelentették a Migrációs Államtitkárságnak. A védelmi státusz visszavonása a szövetségi hatóságok felelőssége. A nem rendeltetésszerű igénybevétel esetén a kifizetett szociális segélyt vissza kell fizetni” – tette hozzá.
Emlékeztetőül: Svájc elkezdte alaposabban ellenőrizni Ukrajna állampolgárainak a menekültstátuszhoz való jogát. A tisztségviselők szerint megnőtt a hamis vagy illegálisan megszerzett ukrán útleveleket használók száma, számolt be az SRF kiadvány.
Svájcban a menekültstátuszt kérő ukrán menekültek komoly problémákkal néznek szembe a jelentkezési folyamat lelassulása miatt 2024-ben. Így minden ötödik ukrán kérelmezőtől megtagadták a védelmi státuszt.
„Az S státusz (menekültstátusz) célja az volt, hogy a menekülteket gyorsan és bürokráciamentesen megszerezhessék a hosszú távú tartózkodási engedélyhez. Az eljárások azonban egyre hosszabbak és bonyolultabbak” – jegyzi meg a kiadvány.
2023 elejére a kérelmek mintegy 97%-át hagyták jóvá. Átlagosan két héten belül jóváhagyták őket. Idén azonban megváltozott a helyzet, többszörösére nőtt a kérelmek elbírálási eljárás időtartama. A Migrációs Államtitkárságon pedig egyre több feldolgozatlan kérelem halmozódik fel.

Tüntetések törtek ki Görögország több pontján, miután egy rendőr meglőtt egy 16 éves roma fiatalt, aki a hatóságok elől menekült egy állítólagos benzinlopást követően. A 16 éves fiú fizetés nélkül hajtott el egy benzinkútról tankolás után, a rendőr lövése miatt kritikus állapotba került.
A rendőrt, aki eltalálta a fiút, letartóztatták és felmentették a szolgálat alól. A tinédzsert kritikus állapotban kezelik egy Thesszalonikiben található kórházban a The Guardian cikke szerint.
Az eset miatt tiltakozók egy baloldali és anarchista csoportok által szervezett tüntetésen hétfőn este a rendőrökkel is összecsaptak: voltak, akik üzletek ablakait törték be és Molotov-koktélokat dobtak a rendőrökre, akik könnygázzal viszonozták ezt.
Ezt megelőzően a fiút kezelő kórház előtt roma férfiak barikádokat építettek és kukákat gyújtottak fel. A rendőröket üvegekkel is dobálták: itt is könnygázt kellett bevetni a tömeg eloszlatására.
Athénban is zajlottak tüntetések, itt ugyanakkor békés keretek közt: a felvonulók szerint a fiút azért lőtték le, mert roma.
A görögországi romák és emberi jogi aktivisták egyaránt gyanúsítják a görög rendőrséget azzal, hogy diszkriminálják a romákat: az elmúlt évek során több romát ölt vagy sebesített meg rendőrök lövése akkor, amikor a férfiak állítólag a letartóztatást próbálták megkerülni, ezért menekülni kezdtek a rendőrök elöl.
A tinédzser személyazonosságát nem hozták nyilvánosságra, de azt igen, hogy roma származású. Egy húsz eurós – nagyságrendileg 8300 forintos – számla kifizetését akarta megúszni, amikor meglőtték. A 34 éves rendőr, aki a lövést adta le rá, kedden emberölés kísérletének vádjával állt az ügyész elé. A rendőr motoron ült, állítólag több veszélyes manővert hajtott végre azelőtt a tinédzser, hogy lövése eldördültek volna.
A lövöldözés a görög városokban évente megrendezett tüntetések előestéjén történt: ezeket a 15 éves Alekszandrosz Grigoropulosz 2008-ban bekövetkezett halálának emlékére tartják.
Grigoropuloszt is rendőr lőtte le, halálát több hétig tartó zavargásokat követték. A lövöldözés óta tartott évfordulós tüntetések gyakran vezettek erőszakos összecsapásokhoz a tüntetők és a rohamrendőrök között.

Erőszakos tüntetések törtek ki Szalonikiben kedden, miután előző nap egy rendőr meglőtt egy 16 éves roma fiatalt, aki a hatóságok elől menekült egy állítólagos benzinlopást követően.
A tüntetők kövekkel és botokkal támadtak a görög rendőrökre a szaloniki ügyészség épülete előtt, amikor megérkezett tárgyalására a rendőr, akit emberölés kísérletével vádoltak meg. A rendőrök megpróbálták feloszlatni a tömeget.
A görög média úgy tudja, hogy a fiút a fején érte a lövés, és jelenleg is súlyos állapotban kórházban kezelik.
A fiú állítólag fizetés nélkül hajtott el egy benzinkútról, miután 20 euró értékben megtankolta autóját. Ezt követően motoros rendőrök vették üldözőbe, akik közül az egyiküket a fiú megpróbálta elgázolni. Miután a járművet megállították, az egyik rendőr leadott egy lövést, amely az autó hátsó ablakán, valamint a vezetőülés fejtámláján áthatolva eltalálta a fiatalt.
A mostani tüntetések egybeestek Alexandrosz Grigoropulosz halálnak tizennegyedik évfordulójával. A 15 éves fiatalt egy utcai konfliktusban lőtte le egy rendőr, amiről az Index is beszámolt 2014-ben.
Halála évfordulóin a rendőri erőszak ellen tüntetéseket tartanak az országban. A fiatal emlékére szervezett demonstrációk az MTI szerint gyakran végződnek erőszakos eseményekkel, ezért a rendőrség általában könnygázzal és vízágyúval oszlatja fel azokat.

Április 17-én bejelentés érkezett a beregszászi rendőrkapitányságra, miszerint tömegverekedés történt a helyi roma különtanyán.
A helyszínre azonnal kiérkeztek a hatóságok, akik megállapították, hogy 15 személy rátámadt a helyi lakosokra: kövekkel dobálták a házakat, s botokkal okoztak testi sérüléseket az ott élőkön. A verekedésben két férfi sérült meg, egyikük az intenzív osztályon tartózkodik súlyos állapotban, a másik áldozatot pedig számos zúzódással kezelik.
Kiderült, hogy az egyik támadó, valamint az egyik sérült között konfliktus alakult ki, a különtanyán történt támadás bosszúból történt.
A hatóságok eljárást indítottak az ügyben. A támadás „főszervezőjét” és annak két társát letartóztatták, a többi résztvevő felkutatása még zajlik. A tettesekre akár 7 év szabadságvesztés is várhat.
