 A vámhatóság szerint ez a kikötő történetének eddigi legnagyobb drogfogása.
 A kokaint rejtő banánt Ecuadorban rakták hajóra, amely a Panama-csatornán keresztül jutott el Hollandiába. Ott kábítószerkereső kutyák szagolták ki egy ellenőrzés során július 13-án. A drog lefoglalását a folyamatban lévő nyomozás érdekére tekintettel tartották eddig titokban.
 A mintegy 600 millió euró értékű drogot megsemmisítették.
 Az ügyben eddig nem voltak őrizetbevételek.
