Stockholmban őrizetbe vettek egy ukrán férfit, aki kedd reggel megpróbált autóval behajtani az orosz nagykövetség területére – adta hírül az MTI a svéd rendőrség közleménye alapján.
A kommüniké szerint a rendőrséget a diplomáciai képviselet értesítette, miután észlelték, hogy a 45 éves férfi autójával megpróbál áthatolni a nagykövetséget körülzáró kerítésen. Az autót a fémrács állította meg. A férfi még a járműben volt, amikor a kiérkező rendőrök őrizetbe vették.
A férfi ellen „súlyos, jogszerűtlen behatolási kísérlet” gyanújával indítottak eljárást. A rendőrség szóvivője elmondta, hogy az autóban nem volt semmi gyanús, erről már a Reuters számolt be.
Az orosz külügyminisztérium az üggyel kapcsolatban Telegram-csatornáján azt közölte, hogy a gyanúsított egy ukrán állampolgár, aki állandó lakhellyel rendelkezik Svédországban, és már nemcsak az orosz nagykövetség, hanem a svéd rendőrség is ismerte, ugyanis 2015-ben, majd 2018-ban is támadást intézett az orosz kereskedelmi kirendeltség ellen.
