Az orosz csapatok csütörtök reggel rakétatámadást indítottak Ukrajna ellen, elsősorban Tu-95MS stratégiai bombázók bevetésével, a légvédelemnek sikerült lelőni az összes Kijev felé repülő ellenséges célpontot, de Lembergben, Zaporizzsjában és Mirhorodban voltak találatok – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál összefoglaló írásában.
A jelentés szerint Oroszország 26 különböző típusú rakétát lőtt ki Ukrajnára: X-101/X-555/X-55, Kalibr, Iszkander-M/KN-23, X-59 és Sz-300-asokat. A légvédelmi erőknek 13 ellenséges célpontot sikerült megsemmisíteniük. Lengyelországban felszálltak a vadászgépek az Ukrajna elleni orosz rakétatámadás miatt.
Kijevben a légvédelmi erők megsemmisítették a főváros felé repülő összes rakétát. A támadást követően személyi sérülés nem történt.
Lembergben volt találat. Több mint 10 rakéta repült a térség felé. A légvédelem visszaverte a támadást, de egy infrastrukturális létesítményben becsapódás történt, aminek következtében tűz ütött ki. A Naukova utcában a robbanáshullám kitörte az ablakok egy részét, és autók is megrongálódtak. Hárman megsérültek.
Zaporizzsjában egy infrastrukturális objektumot támadtak az agresszorok. Vannak sérültek. Házakban, oktatási intézményben és kereskedelmi létesítmény helyiségeiben keletkeztek károk.
Poltavában megrongálódott egy raktár a Mirhorod kerületben, 100 négyzetméteres területen tűz ütött ki.
Dnyipropetrovszk megyében egy polgári infrastrukturális létesítményt támadtak az oroszok.
Hmelnickij megyében polgári létesítmények rongálódtak meg.
Ivano-Frankivszk megyében egy rakéta lelőtt és lehulló törmelék miatt kigyulladt egy kereskedelmi épület teteje. A tüzet eloltották.

Moszkva azután döntött a Tupolev Tu-22M3 bombázók kiküldéséről, hogy az Európai Unió ülésén szerdán szankciók bevezetéséről döntöttek Minszkkel szemben.
Nemrég menekültek két nagyobb csoportja is átszakította a kerítést a lengyel–fehérorosz határon, és átjutott Lengyelország területére. Egyes határsértőket visszafordítottak Fehéroroszországba, másoknak sikerült kereket oldaniuk.
A Fehéroroszországgal szomszédos uniós tagállamok, Litvánia, Lengyelország és Lettország határaihoz hónapok óta érkeznek illegális bevándorlók, legtöbbjük Irakból. Az Európai Unió azzal vádolja Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz elnököt, hogy az ő rendszere szervezi a migránsok szállítását a határra, megtorlásul a Fehéroroszország ellen elrendelt nyugati büntetőintézkedésekért.
