Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök beszámolót tartott a vasárnapi eseményekről a frontvonalon. Az elnök elégedetten tekint a vasárnapra, amely szerint az ukrán hadsereg számára eredményesen alakult. Kiemelte, hogy Bahmut közelében különösen optimistán látja a helyzetet, ahol az ukrán csapatok folyamatosan területeket szereznek vissza az oroszoktól.
Hanna Maljar, az ukrán védelmi miniszterhelyettes szerint északkeleten a harcok nagyon intenzívek. A Szvatovo-Kreminna térségben az oroszok igyekeznek áttörni a frontvonalat. Zelenszkij szerint az északi hadműveletek célja, hogy az oroszok elvonják a figyelmet a sikeres bahmuti frontról, és csapatokat vonjanak el a térségből. Ha ez sikerrel járna, akkor az elmúlt napokban meggyengült orosz állásokat meg tudnák erősíteni, hogy az ukrán támadó műveleteknek ellenálljanak.
