Különös segélykiáltásokra lettek figyelmesek rendőrök egy kaliforniai kávézóban: végül kiderült, hogy egy férfi rekedt egy fal belsejében. A tűzoltók órákig dolgoztak a kiszabadításán, majd betörés gyanújával őrizetbe vették.



Egy férfit betörés miatt tartóztattak le az Egyesült Államokban, a kaliforniai Salinas városában, miután rendőrök segélykiáltásokat hallottak egy fal belsejéből egy kávézó közelében – adta hírül a FOX26 News.







A helyi rendőrség beszámolója szerint a szolgálatukat éppen befejező rendőrök békésen kávéztak egy helyi kávézóban, amikor furcsa, halk segélykiáltások ütötték meg a fülüket. Az alkalmazottak elmondták: korábban ők is hallottak különös kopogásokat és zajokat, ám egy idő után minden elcsendesedett. A rendőrök átvizsgálták az épületet, majd rájöttek, hogy a hangok a falból érkeznek, amely a kávézó és egy mozi között húzódik.



Miután megkopogtatták a falat, valaki visszakopogott, így bizonyossá vált, hogy egy ember rekedt bent.



A hatóságok szerint a feltételezett betörő az épület falai közötti szűk résbe mászhatott be, hogy így jusson be az egyik üzletbe, ám beszorult, és nem tudott kijutni. A közelben egy szerelőnyílás is volt, az illető pedig azt állította, hogy fémtartók közé szorult, ezért mozdulni sem tudott. A rendőrség egyelőre nem tudta megállapítani, hogy megcsúszott-e, vagy beleesett-e a nagyjából 30×60 centiméteres nyílásba – derül ki a SFGATE beszámolójából.



A beszámolók alapján több mint tíz órát tölthetett a falban.



A tűzoltók végül több helyen is megbontották a falat, majd egy nagyobb nyíláson keresztül sikerült kiszabadítaniuk a férfit. A mentést követően orvosi vizsgálatra vitték, majd Isaac Valencia néven azonosították, és betörés miatt őrizetbe vették.

Moussa Dadis Camara, aki 2008 és 2010 között állt a junta élén, egy 2009-es tüntetés brutális vérbe fojtása miatt van őrizetben. Szombat hajnalban fegyveresek kiszabadították a börtönből három társával együtt. A hatóságok nagy erőkkel kutatni kezdtek a szökevények után, és néhány órán belül el is fogták a junta egykori vezetőjét, akit a nap végére vissza is szállítottak a börtönbe Conakryban.







Az igazságügyi minisztérium tájékoztatása szerint kilenc holttestet találtak a véres incidens után, az akcióban három támadó, négy katona és még két ember halt meg. Hat ember megsebesült, őket kórházban ápolják.



Moussa Dadis Camara 2008-ban került hatalomra Guineában katonai államcsínyt követően. Az országot 2010-ig irányította a junta élén, majd 2021-ig emigrációban élt. Tavaly szeptemberben vették őrizetbe és állították bíróság elé a 2009-ben a főváros, Conakry stadionjában elkövetett mészárlás miatt, amelynek során a katonák – 157 embert megölve – vérbe fojtottak egy tüntetést.
