A faluban közlekedve elveszítette a tájékozódást, és a vasútvonal mentén indult el, amíg a határőrjárat meg nem állította.
A jogsértőt közigazgatási eljárás keretében tartóztatták fel személyazonosságának megállapítása és a szükséges adminisztratív eljárási dokumentumok elkészítése céljából. A férfit az ukrán Közigazgatási Szabálysértési Kódex 204-1. cikke 1. része szerint vonják felelősségre az államhatár jogellenes átlépése miatt.

A csapi határőrszolgálat munkatársai lakossági bejelentést kaptak arról, hogy ismeretlenek csempészakcióra készülnek a zöldhatáron át. A drónos cigarettacsempészést az ungvári járási Szalókától nem messze tervezték végrehajtani. A határőrszolgálat emberei keresőegységek segítségével ki is vonultak a területre és különleges eszközök segítségével meg tudták akadályozni a csempészdrón átrepülését a határon. Az eszközre 170 doboz cigaretta volt ráerősítve.
A drónt és a cigarettaszállítmányt is a határőrség telephelyére vitték, majd átadták a rendőrség nyomozócsoportjának. A hatóságok már keresik az elkövetőket.

A bűnözők ezúttal drónnal akartak cigarettát csempészni a határ túloldalára.
Az eset az Ungvári járásban, Szalókán történt. A hatóságok a bejelentést követően azonnal kiérkeztek a helyszínre, technikai intézkedések által sikerült megállítani a drónt. A pilóta nélküli légijárműre 170 doboz cigarettát rögzítettek, melyeket Magyarország területére akartak átjuttatni.
A tárgyi bizonyítékokat a hatóságok lefoglalták, az ügyben folynak a vizsgálatok.

A csapi tűzoltóság munkatársaink sikerült elzárni a tűz útját, így jelentős anyagi kár nem keletkezett. A község lakói közül sokan a helyszínre siettek és igyekeztek segíteni a tűzoltók munkáját. Biró Sándor, Szalóka polgármestere figyelmeztetett: a mostani száraz időben vigyázni kell a tűzgyújtással, valamint elismeréssel szólt a csapi tűzoltókról, akik gyorsan a helyszínre értek, így még időben közbe tudtak avatkozni.

Az ismeretlen személyek mozgását az államhatár irányába a „Tisza” határőrség járőrszolgálatának hőkamerája rögzítette. A helyszínre érkező határőrök felszólítására az ismeretlen elkövetők megpróbáltak elmenekülni, hátrahagyva a cigarettásdobozokat. A többszörös figyelmeztetést a tettesek figyelmen kívül hagyták, a határőrök kénytelenek voltak figyelmeztető lövést leadni. Elfogásuk után az elkövetők helyi lakosoknak vallották magukat, személyüket azonosító iratokkal nem rendelkeztek. A 3 csomagban, amit az elkövetők menekülés során maguk mögött hagytak, 2990 doboz ukrán jövedéki adóbélyegző nélküli dohányterméket találtak.
A letartóztatott személyeket valamint a cigarettát a határőrsre vitték. A csempészek személyazonosságának megállapítása után adminisztratív felelősségre vonásra kerül sor Ukrajna közigazgatási kódexének 202 cikkelye „Határterület és az államhatár rezsimjének megsértése…”, 185-10 cikkelye „A határőrség, katonaság alkalmazottjának törvényes felszólításával kapcsolatos engedetlenség” valamint 204-1 cikkelyének 2.része „Ukrajna államhatárának törvénytelen átlépése vagy annak kísérlete” alapján.
A jogszabályoknak megfelelően a védjegy nélküli cigarettákat az Állami Vámszolgálat alkalmazottjainak adták át- jelenti a Csapi Határőrség sajtószolgálata.
