Egyre inkább elmondható, hogy a közelgő választások előtt pattanásig feszülnek az indulatok Szlovákiában.
Az ország korábbi miniszterelnöke, Igor Matovic, az Egyszerű Emberek (OĽaNO) elnöke kedd reggel egy megafonnal érkezett a Robert Fico-féle Smer sajtótájékoztatójára. Igor Matovic célja az volt, hogy megzavarja a rendezvényt. A korábbi miniszterelnök súlyos kijelentéseket tett Robert Fico pártjára, többek között azt, hogy szerinte a párt tolvajokból áll.
A provokáció célt ért, hiszen Fico egykori belügyminisztere, Robert Kalinák személyesen próbálta elhallgattatni a volt miniszterelnököt. A szóváltásnak azonban komoly következményei lettek: Matovic az autóból mellkason rúgta Kalinákot – olvasható a Mandineren.
