Hatalmas szerencsétlenség ért több túrázót Szlovéniában. Egy lavina egy ember halálát okozta, kettő pedig eltűnt. A mentés nehéz körülmények között zajlott, az időjárás is megnehezítette a munkát.
Túrázókra csapott le a lavina vasárnap este Szlovéniában. Többen indultak el, egyikük meghalt, két embert pedig eltűnt az eredetileg hét fős túracsoportból.
A Tosc-hegyen egy hétfős horvát csoport túrázott, amikor a lavina lecsapott. Négyen pihenőt tartottak, három pedig tovább indult felfelé – őket sodorta el a lavina.
A mentők egy holttestet megtaláltak, két túrázó után tovább folyik a keresés.
A szlovén mentőcsapatok vasárnap estére felfüggesztették a keresést, és hétfőn folytatják. Az eső, a havazás és az újabb lavinák veszélye miatt helikoptert sem tudtak bevetni.
A körülmények nem jók, erősen havazik és hideg van – mondta Klemen Belhar mentőtiszt.

Árvizeket és földcsuszamlásokat okozott a heves esőzés Észak-Szlovéniában, a tűzoltók kétszáz esetben intézkedtek – írta a helyi sajtó szombaton.
Az észak-szlovéniai Logar-völgyben egy földcsuszamlás elzárta az egyik helyi utat. Lasko városában egy idősotthont és a helyi termálfürdőt árasztotta el a víz, valamint Celje és Zidani Most között több utat is elzárt a forgalom elől.
Velenjében több aluljáró került víz alá. Az egyikből a tűzoltóknak egy járművet kellett kimenteni. A Gorenje háztartásigép-gyártó vállalatnak a városban működő üzemcsarnokait is elárasztotta a víz, Sostanj községben pedig a Florjanscica folyó mintegy tíz házat öntött el.
Az északnyugati Gorenjska régióban szintén épületek kerültek víz alá, a földcsuszamlások pedig utakat zártak el. A Predvor településen lévő Kokra faluban egy folyó lerombolt egy hidat és elárasztott több épületet.
A legtöbb csapadék a Karavankák-hegység területén, Közép-Szlovéniában és Posavje térségében hullott.
A környezetvédelmi ügynökség jelentése szerint Krskóban mérték a legtöbb esőt, 112 litert négyzetméterenként, míg a Karavankák-hegység közelében fekvő Jelendolban 105 liter eső esett négyzetméterenként.
Az esőzések estig folytatódnak Szlovénia-szerte, de kisebb intenzitással, mint az éjszaka folyamán. A kisebb folyók azonban tovább áradhatnak – tette hozzá az ügynökség.
Szlovéniát tavaly augusztus elején története legsúlyosabb természeti katasztrófája sújtotta. A heves esők okozta áradások – amelyek az ország területének kétharmadát érintették – milliárdos nagyságrendű károkat okoztak, és hat halálos áldozatot követeltek.

A legmagasabb fokozatú, vörös riasztást adták ki hétfőn reggel Szlovénia északi részeire, mivel ott heves esőzések várhatók, amelyek jelentős áradásokat okozhatnak.

Hatra emelkedett a szlovéniai árvízek halálos áldozatainak száma, miután két újabb halottja lett a katasztrófának.
Egy férfi az árvíz okozta károk elhárítása közben vesztette életét, egy másik áldozat holttestére a Temenica folyóban bukkantak – jelentette a helyi média. Hétfőn javult az árvízhelyzet Szlovéniában, de a katasztrófa sújtotta területeken számos földcsuszamlás fenyeget.
Megkezdődött a károk elhárítása, amelyben Szlovénia nemzetközi segítségre is számít. Az uniós katasztrófavédelmi együttműködés keretében a kormány elsősorban nehézgépeket és előregyártott ideiglenes hidakat kért, köztük húsz, legfeljebb 40 méter hosszú szükséghidat. A NATO-tól öt nagy szállító helikoptert, 200 katonát és további húsz szükséghidat várnak.
A megáradt folyók vízszintje lassan visszahúzódik, már csak a Mura folyó kelet-szlovéniai szakaszán van érvényben a legmagasabb árvízvédelmi fokozat. Ott a helyzet változatlanul feszült, az árvíz továbbra is fenyeget egyes falvakat.
Dolnja Bistrica községnél sikerült megerősíteni a megsérült gátat, a kimenekített lakosok visszatérhettek lakóhelyükre. Az árhullám jelenleg Hotiza és Kot helységeket fenyegeti.
Az árvíz által legsúlyosabban érintett területeken a munkálatok a közúti összeköttetés helyreállítására, és az épen maradt hidak állapotának vizsgálatára összpontosulnak. Számos híd súlyosan megrongálódott, vagy teljesen megsemmisült. Sok helységben megszűnt a vízszolgáltatás, néhányban gondok vannak az áramszolgáltatással és a távközlési hálózattal is.

A péntek óta tartó kiadós esőzéseket követően történelmének legsúlyosabb természeti katasztrófája fenyegeti Szlovéniát. Szombat este újabb veszélyhelyzet állt elő a Murán, ahol átszakadt egy kisebb vízi erőmű duzzasztógátja Alsóbesztercénél. Több száz embert kellett kimenekíteni a közeli településekről, a helyi polgári védelem parancsnoka szerint tíz falut fenyeget az árvízveszély.
Veszélyhelyzet alakult ki szombat este a magyar határtól mindössze 20 kilométerre délnyugatra fekvő Alsóbeszterce (Dolnja Bistrica) mellett, amikor átszakadt egy vízi erőmű gátja a Murán.
Az RTV Slovenija szlovén állami televízió beszámolója szerint a településről mintegy 500 embert kellett kimenekíteni. Az áradás körülbelül tíz kelet-szlovéniai települést, falvakat veszélyeztet a környéken.
„A feltétlenül szükséges kimenekítési lépéseket megtettük, ugyanis ez az egyetlen helyes intézkedés az áldozatok megelőzésére” – idézi Srečko Šestant, a muraszombati polgári védelem parancsnokát az osztrák Kronen Zeitung internetes kiadása.
„Ha a víz elkezdi elhordani a talajt, a gát teljesen összeomolhat, és az árhullám kilenc-tíz falut is elboríthat” – tette hozzá.
Szlovénia más részein is továbbra is rendkívüli állapot van érvényben.
A hivatalos adatok szerint eddig négy ember vesztette életét az áradások miatt.
Pénteken hárman vesztették életüket – két holland és egy szlovén nő –, szombaton pedig holtan találtak egy férfit a Száva partján Ljubljana mellett – közölte a helyi rendőrség.
A szlovén hadsereg szombat este óta helikopterekkel szállít betontömböket a gát sérült részéhez, így próbálva meg elzárni a víz útját.
Robert Golob szlovén kormányfő szerint az országot történetének legsúlyosabb természeti katasztrófája sújtja, és az eddig keletkezett anyagi kár elérheti az 500 millió eurót.
