Emberek ezrei rendeztek tiltakozást Tel-Avivban, hogy követeljék az izraeli kormánytól, hogy tegyen többet a Hamász által Gázában még mindig fogva tartott túszok kiszabadítása érdekében.
A heti tüntetéseknek van kormányellenes eleme is, sok követelőző Benjamin Netanjahu miniszterelnök új választásokat ír ki, és utat enged az utódnak.
„Nem vagyok kész arra, hogy egy halállal teli világban éljek. Nem vagyok kész arra, hogy egy olyan országban éljek, amelynek kormánya elküld bennünket, hogy letelepedjünk a határokon, harcoljunk a háborúkban, és a végén elhagyunk. Nem vagyok az. készen áll arra, hogy apa nélkül éljen” – mondta Ofer Kalderon, Rotem Kalderon fia, a Hamasz által elfogott egyik túsz.
A Hamász tavaly októberben indított behatolást Dél-Izraelbe, mintegy 1200 embert megöltve és 250 másikat túszul ejtve.

Ám az új fegyverszüneti megállapodás megkötésére irányuló erőfeszítések, amelyek az izraeli túszok palesztin foglyokkal való cseréjét is magukban foglalják, egyelőre elakadtak.
Nem állok készen arra, hogy olyan országban éljek, amelynek kormánya elküld bennünket, hogy telepedjünk le a határokon, harcoljunk és a végén elhagy minket – Ajánlj Kalderont.
Rotem Kalderon izraeli túsz fia
Az izraeli hadjárat egyik kinyilvánított célja a Gázában fogva tartott túszok kiszabadítása volt, de nyolc hónap alatt csak hetet sikerült kiszabadítani.
Három másik embert tévedésből megöltek az izraeli erők, miután maguktól megszöktek, a Hamász pedig azt állítja, hogy másokat is megöltek az izraeli légicsapásokban. Izrael becslései szerint még mindig körülbelül 80 embert tart fogva a Hamász, valamint 40 másik holttestét.
„Mondjon igent az alkura, mindenkit vigyen haza; a rehabilitációra élőket és családjaikat, a halottakat pedig a méltó temetésért országukban” – mondta Michal Lubnov, a túszul ejtett Alex Lubnov felesége.
A Gázába irányuló izraeli offenzíva több mint 37 000 palesztint ölt meg a helyi egészségügyi tisztviselők szerint, akik nem tesznek különbséget civilek és harcosok között.
Humanitárius katasztrófát robbantott ki Gázában is, ahol a lakosság több mint 80%-a lakóhelyét elhagyta, az izraeli korlátozások és a folyamatos harcok pedig hátráltatták a humanitárius segélyek behozatalára irányuló erőfeszítéseket, széleskörű éhínséget szítva.
Az eredménytelen háború az izraeli közvéleményt is megosztotta: minden szombat este több ezer ember vonul az utcára, hogy felszólítsa a kormányt, hogy kössön megállapodást a túszok hazaszállításáról. Egyesek azzal vádolják Benjamin Netanjahut, hogy politikai túlélését helyezi előtérbe a túszok életével szemben.
Eközben a dél-gázai palesztinok sorba álltak a tűző nap alatt, hogy segélyszállító teherautókból vízhez jussanak Khan Younisban, ahol tízezrek élnek főleg műanyag sátrakban.
A lakóhelyüket elhagyni kényszerült emberek ott küszködnek a magas hőmérséklettel, az élelmiszer- és vízhiánnyal, valamint az orvosi ellátás kevéssel vagy egyáltalán nem.
Ez egy nappal azután történt, hogy a WFP egyik magas rangú tisztviselője azt mondta, hogy „víz- és közegészségügyi katasztrófa” van kibontakozva Gáza déli részén, amelyet tovább ront a Rafah legdélebbi városából kitelepítettek növekvő száma.
„Az emberek az utcákon, a tengerparton sátoroznak, legjobb esetben is valami menedékhelyen. De tudod, szennyvízfolyókon haladtunk keresztül” – mondta Carl Skau, a WFP ügyvezető igazgató-helyettese.
Ugyanezen a napon az UNICEF szóvivője azt mondta a BBC-nek, hogy egyik konvojjukat megtagadták a belépést Gáza északi részébe annak ellenére, hogy minden szükséges dokumentummal rendelkeztek.

Az Hamász iszlamista terrorszervezet négy hónap után ismét rakétákkal lőtte Tel-Avivot Rafahból vasárnap.
Vasárnap kora délután ismét megszólalt a légiriadó Izrael központi részén, Tel-Avivban és környékén s az attól északra fekvő Saron-vidéken.
A jelentős rakétatámadást a Gázai övezet déli részéből, Rafahból indította a Hamász.
Izrael hetek óta offenzívát folytat Rafah ellen.
Az izraeli hadsereg (IDF) szóvivője közölte, hogy nyolc lövedéket azonosítottak, amelyek Rafah felől hatoltak be Izrael területére. Számos rakétát elfogott az IDF légvédelme.
Az izraeli mentőszolgálat arról számolt be, hogy egy személy enyhén megsebesült Herclián, egy 30 és egy 52 éves nő pedig könnyebben megsebesült, miközben az óvóhelyre siettek Kfar Szabán. A város mellett, a temetőhöz közeli lakatlan területen becsapódásokat észleltek.

A Magen David Adom (MDA) a vöröskereszt izraeli megfelelője közleményben tudatta, hogy a négy sebesültet, akik közül ketten könnyebben, ketten közepesen sérültek meg, kórházba szállították.

A Habima, az Izraeli Nemzeti Színház előtti téren, Tel-Aviv központjában sok ezren gyűltek össze szombat este, hogy tiltakozzanak az igazságszolgáltatási rendszer megváltoztatásának szerda este, Jarív Levin igazságügy miniszter által bejelentett terve ellen.
A tüntető menet a színháztól a tel-avivi művészeti múzeum elé vonult, ahol beszédet mondott a bíróságok és az ügyészség erejét csökkentő változtatások ellen többek között Avi Chimi, az ügyvédi kamara elnöke, Ajman Ode, az arab Közös Lista pártszövetség vezetője, és Naama Lazimi, a szociáldemokrata Munkapárt parlamenti képviselője.
„Azt üzenem Jarív Levinnek és barátainak, hogy nem engedjük, hogy diktatúrává változtasson bennünket. A reform, melyről beszél, a demokrácia lerombolását, az emberi jogoknak, a bíróság függetlenségének és önöknek, a polgároknak a megsértését jelenti” – mondta Chimi.
A demonstrációt számos izraeli civil szervezet rendezte, köztük békeszervezetek, valamint a Benjamin Netanjahu miniszterelnök távozását követelő aktivisták, többek közt a Fekete Zászlós mozgalomból és a Crime Minister nevű szervezet soraiból.
„Néhány nappal azután, hogy Netanjahu Levinen keresztül puccsot hirdetett, visszatérünk az utcára. Csak egy dolog állíthatja meg a puccsot: a polgárok az utcán, akik világossá teszik, hogy nem hagyják, hogy Izrael messiási diktatúrává változzon” – közölte a lappal a Fekete Zászlós mozgalom.
A tüntetők egy része a beszédek után rövid időre lezárta Izrael legforgalmasabb főútját, az Ajalon autópályát, majd egy csoport a Likud párt egyik politikusának, Amír Ohanának, a kneszet házelnökének tel-avivi háza elé vonult demonstrálni.
Jarív Levin igazságügyi miniszter szerda esti sajtótájékoztatóján jelentette be az új Netanjahu-kormány terveit az izraeli jogrend módosítására, melynek célja az igazságszolgáltatási rendszer gyengítése és az alkotmánybíróságként is működő legfelsőbb bíróság jogköreinek csökkentése.

Brutális rendőri erőszakkal számolták fel a Benjámin Netanjahu kormányfő elleni tömegtüntetéseket szombat éjjel Tel-Avivban – jelentette a helyi média.
Az éjszaka folyamán Facebook-oldalak és Twitter-fiókok tucatjain élő közvetítéseken számoltak be az izraeli miniszterelnök távozását követelő, a város több pontján zajló tüntetésekről, amelyeken a felvételek tanúsága szerint brutális rendőri erőszakkal tartóztatták le a demonstrálókat.
Rendőrök verték a fiatalokat, lovas rendőrök közéjük hatoltak és feléjük rúgtak, motoros rendőrök pedig számos alkalommal szándékosan olyan közel haladtak el, hogy az gázolással fenyegette a tiltakozókat. Az éjszaka folyamán 38 tüntetőt állítottak elő, de egy kivétellel reggelre szabadon engedték őket. Emellett több száz esetben jelentős bírságot osztottak ki a koronavírus-járvány megfékezésére megalkotott jogszabályok alapján, amelyeknek újabb, szigorított változata szerint csakis egymástól két méterre, maszkban állva, húszfős csoportokban lehet tüntetni.
A Habima színháznál kezdődött tüntetéseken – a felvételek szerint – a főként fiatalokból álló tömeg a szabályokat betartva tiltakozott, és több, Tel-Avivban élő baloldali és centrista parlamenti képviselő is megjelent védelmükre, azonban a számos lovas rendőr torlódást okozott, így a tüntetők kénytelenek voltak megszegni a szabályokat. A rendőrök egy valójában nem létező kihágás ürügyén a munkájukat végző újságíróknak is szabálysértési bírságokat osztottak ki a katonai rádió vasárnap délelőtti műsora szerint. Az este során könnyebben megsebesült egy rendőri ütéstől Ron Huldai tel-avivi polgármester is, a képet, amelyen véres karját lépked, a helyi média azonnal közölte.
„Törvényt szegnek, nem engedelmeskednek a felszólításnak, és nem oszlottak szét a felhívásra. Nem volt más választásunk, mint hogy erővel lépjünk fel. A rendőrségnek jogában áll erőszakot alkalmazni, ez a munkánk” – mondta Ziv Szagív rendőrtiszt a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportáljának, a ynetnek vasárnap.
Szombat este becslések szerint országszerte mintegy százezer ember tiltakozott lakóhelye ezer méteres körzetében az ezen a héten elfogadott drasztikus szabályokat betartva tereken és útkereszteződésekben, valamint autópályák fölötti hidakon. Izraeli és fekete zászlókat, valamint tiltakozó feliratokat tartalmazó táblákat tartottak magasba a tavasszal megalakult, a kormányfő távozását követelő és a demokrácia védelmét hirdető „Fekete zászlós mozgalom” szervezésében.
A tiltakozók száma ezen a hétvégén jelentősen megnőtt az új, a miniszterelnök Balfour utcai rezidenciájánál rendezett eddigi tömegtüntetéseket megtiltó rendelkezések nyomán.
Az otthonuk közelében, kisebb csoportokban demonstrálók demokráciaellenesnek tartják a szigorításokat, mivel a kormányzat nem tudott felmutatni bizonyítékokat arra, hogy a tüntetések miatt terjed a koronavírus. Az egészségügyi minisztérium kimutatásai szerint a járvány jelenleg elsősorban a maszkviselési és távolságtartási szabályokat kevésbé betartó ultraortodox lakosság körében terjed.
A bírálók szerint Benjámin Netanjahu azért szavaztatta meg szerda éjjel a tüntetések korlátozását a kneszetben, hogy megpróbálja elhallgattatni az ellene irányuló, hónapok óta tartó tiltakozó mozgalmat, de az újabb korlátozás csak olajat öntött a tűzre, jelentősen megnőtt a tüntetők száma.
A július közepe óta tartó tiltakozó mozgalom egyik legfőbb jelszava, hogy nem lehet miniszterelnök olyan személy, akit törvény elé állítottak korrupció, csalás és közhivatallal visszaélés miatt, de emellett bírálják a kormányfőt a koronavírus második, nyáron kezdődött hullámának kezelése miatt is.

Drónról szórtak le kannabisz csomagocskákat Tel-Avivra csütörtökön – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című izraeli újság hírportálja, a ynet csütörtökön.
A város központjában lévő Rabin tér fölött eresztette szélnek kábítószeres rakományát kora délután egy drón. Több mint száz – kétgrammos – adag marihuánát szórt szét, s a rendőrség egy közeli játszótérről is összeszedett számos csomagot, amely odarepült.
Számos járókelő eredeti úti célját feladva a csomagok gyűjtésébe kezdett, mások a környező kávéházak teraszairól gyűjtögették a csomagokat, többen pedig a kocsijukból kiszállva próbáltak néhány adagot szerezni.
A rendfenntartók őrizetbe vettek két, a harmincas éveiben járó férfit, akiket a repülőszerkezet irányításával gyanúsítanak. „A kábítószergyanús anyag terjesztése igen veszélyes, és ennek megfelelően fogják kihallgatni az elkövetőket” – közölte a rendőrség.
A Zöld drón nevű, kannabiszterjesztéssel foglalkozó internetes csoportban röviddel a történtek előtt már jelezték, hogy hamarosan pilóta nélküli repülógépről szórnak le csomagokat.
A csoport közleménye szerint hetente fognak egy kiló kannabiszt égnek ereszteni kétgrammos csomagokban Izrael különböző pontjain, hogy ezzel hirdessék új, „kannabiszeső” nevű házhoz szállítási módszerüket, amellyel a koronavírus miatti esetleges vesztegzárra is felkészülnek.
Izraelben jelenleg törvénytelennek számít a könnyű drogok, a kannabisz fogyasztása, terjesztése és termelése, de az utóbbi években a fogyasztást részlegesen kiemelték a büntetendő cselekmények közül, ami azt jelenti, hogy 15 gramm birtoklásáig és otthoni, nem nyilvános fogyasztásáig a hatóságok nem hajtják végre a törvényt. A kannabisz nyilvános használatán első és második alkalommal tetten ért polgárokat nem lehet letartóztatni, ha nincsenek korábbi nyilvántartások kannabiszhasználatukról, bár pénzbírsággal számolhatnak. A terjesztés és a termelés továbbra is a törvényben meghatározott módon büntetendő cselekmény.
