A marokkói biztonsági szolgálatok felszámolták az Iszlám Állam száhel-övezeti toborzó terrorista sejtjét – adta hírül kedden a marokkói központi nyomozóiroda.
A művelet során hétfőn és kedden négy, 35 és 40 év közötti embert vettek őrizetbe több marokkói nagyvárosban – írta közleményében a hatóság.



A gyanúsítottak otthonaiban tartott házkutatás során elektronikai eszközöket, készpénzt, szablyákat, maszkokat és egy lőfegyvert is lefoglaltak – szerepel a közleményben.



A vizsgálat során kiderítették, hogy a terrorista sejt az Iszlám Állam Száhel-övezetben aktív vezetőivel együttműködve próbálta segíteni a szélsőségesek beszivárgását a területre.
