Elfogtak egy ritka, fiatal hím tigrist, miután rátámadt egy mezőgazdasági munkásra és egy gépkocsira Kína északkeleti részén, nem messze az orosz határtól – írja a DW.com.
A különösen veszélyeztetett szibériai tigrisek Oroszországban és Kína északkeleti területein őshonosak, a becslések szerint csak néhány száz él belőlük szabadon, ebből pedig kevesebb mint 30 Kínában.
Nem jellemző, hogy a szibériai tigrisek ilyen közel merészkednének az emberek által lakott területekhez, a fiatal hímet azonban pénteken a helyiek Linhu falu közelében vették észre.
A tigris megtámadott egy mezőgazdasági munkást, aki azonban könnyebb sérülésekkel megúszta a találkozót. A fiatal ragadozó egy autónak is nekiment, melynek egyik hátsó ablakát betört és külső sérüléseket okozott a gépjárműnek, de a két utast végül nem sebesítette meg.
A rendőrség órákig kutatott az állat után, majd nyugtatóval ártalmatlanították. A hatóságok közölték, hogy a szibériai tigrist 45 napos megfigyelés alatt tartják.

Zinajda Makszimenko, az állatkert igazgatója szerint nem tudni, hogy a több mint 10 éve az intézményben dolgozó munkatársuk miért ment be egyedül a tigrisketrecbe.

Egyik keze megcsonkításába került a figyelmetlenség annak a nőnek, akit egy magánbirtokon tartott tigris harapott meg hétfőn az észak-csehországi Chvojenecben – közölte a rendőrség.
A 66 éves nő a rokonát látogatta meg és annak ellenére, hogy korábban már többször figyelmeztették a veszélyre, benyúlt a tigris ketrecébe, hogy megsimogassa a vadállatot. A tigris leharapott egy darabot a nő kezéből. A mentők stabilizálták a nő állapotát, fájdalomcsillapítót adtak neki, és beszállították a Hradec Králové-i Egyetemi Kórházba.
A rendőrség vizsgálatot indított annak megállapítására, hogy a tigris tulajdonosa megszegte-e a törvényi előírásokat, és felelősségre vonható-e a súlyos balesetért.
