Az Egyesült Államokban őrizetbe vettek egy 22 éves sorkatonát, Tayler Adam Lee-t, aki a gyanú szerint titkos információkat próbált átadni Oroszországnak az amerikai M1A2 Abrams harckocsiról – cserébe orosz állampolgárságért. A katona hozzáféréssel rendelkezett bizalmas adatokhoz, és többször is kapcsolatba lépett egy állítólagos orosz kormányképviselővel.






Az amerikai igazságügyi minisztérium szerint Lee május óta próbálta igazolni katonai státuszát, majd júniusban online továbbított technikai dokumentációkat a tankról. Júliusban személyesen is találkozott a kapcsolattartóval, akinek egy SD-kártyát adott át, rajta titkos fájlokkal az M1A2 Abrams-ről, egy másik páncélozott járműről és hadműveleti információkról.



Július 31-én Lee valószínűleg tényleges felszerelést is átadott, amely az Abrams harckocsiban található. Két szövetségi vádat emeltek ellene: védelmi információk átadásának kísérlete, illetve engedély nélküli technikai export miatt. Az ügyet az FBI és az amerikai hadsereg kémelhárító parancsnoksága vizsgálja.

Már egy hónapja letartóztatásban van a dán védelmi hírszerzés vezetője, amiért a gyanú szerint államtitkokat szivárogtatott ki.



Lars Findsen még december 9-én került rácsok mögé, amiért a Dán Védelmi Hírszerzési Szolgálat (DDIS) vezetőjeként a gyanú szerint szigorúan őrzött információkat szivárogatott ki, amely veszélybe sodorhatja Dánia biztonságát – írja a dán TV2 értesülései alapján az RT.



Egészen eddig titokban tartotta a dán kormány a titkosszolgálati főnök letartóztatását, végül egy koppenhágai városi bíróság rántotta le a leplet a meglehetősen rejtélyes esetről, amelyről rendkívül kevés információ áll rendelkezésre.



A feltételezett letartóztatás idején egyébként a Dán Biztonsági és Hírszerzési Szolgálat (PET) közleményt adott ki, melyben jelezték, hogy a DDIS és PET négy „jelenlegi és korábbi tagját” tartóztatták le, valamint tartottak náluk házkutatást.



Mind a négy letartóztatottat szivárogtatással vádolják, a titkosszolgálat állítása szerint egy hosszú nyomozás eredményeképpen. Arról viszont nem tudni, hogy ezeket az információkat külső hatalomnak, a médiának vagy másnak szivárogtatták ki.



Findsent még 2020 augusztusában mentette fel Trine Bramsen védelmi miniszter a szolgálatai alól, amikor azzal vádolták meg a DDIS-t, hogy megalapozott ok nélkül figyelik meg a dán lakosokat, valamint lényeges információkat tartanak vissza, amelyek a tevékenységük megfelelő ellenőrzéséhez lett volna szükséges.
