A tokiói rendőrség a héten egy meglepő felhívást tett közzé honlapján, ugyanis elvesztettek két floppylemezt, amin érzékeny személyes adatok vannak – és ezek megtalálásában, illetve visszaszerzésében kéri a lakosság segítségét.
A tokiói rendőrség valóban a világ legnagyobb részén már évtizedekkel ezelőtt elavult adathordozókat vesztett el. A két floppyn egyébként 38 darab, korábban lakhatási kérelmet benyújtó ember adatait találhatók meg, amik azért kerültek a hatósághoz, hogy ellenőrizzék az illetők esetleges büntetett előéletét, valamint bűnözői kapcsolatot, mielőtt azoknak kiutalnának egy bérlakást.
A rendőrség az érintett személyektől elnézést kért, egyben közölte, hogy azok egyikénél sem találtak adatot arra vonatkozóan, hogy bármilyen bűnözői körökhöz közük lenne, valamint, hogy oktatást fog szervezni annak érdekében, hogy a jövőben hasonló eset ne fordulhasson elő. Az ügy kapcsán csak reméljük, hogy utóbbi részeként a titkosított adattárolás, valamint a modernebb adathordozók kezelésének rejtélyeibe is beavatják majd a hatóságok az érintetteket.
A tokiói rendőrség egyébként nem különösebben maradi japán viszonyok között a floppylemezek használatával, ugyanis az ósdi adathordozók alkalmazása jelenleg még az egész szigetországban elterjedt, aminek kormányzata csak alig pár hónapja jelentette be, hogy végleg fel kíván hagyni ezek használatával a hivatalokban.

A japán rendőrség elfogta azt a férfit, aki megkéselt pénteken tíz embert egy helyi érdekű vasútjáraton – közölte szombaton a rendőrség.
Az ámokfutó, egy 36 éves férfi, találomra választotta ki áldozatait. A rendőrség közlése szerint „boldognak tűnő nőket” akart megölni. Első áldozatát, egy, a 20-as éveiben járó nőt, aki a támadó mellett ült a vonaton, súlyos állapotban kórházban ápolják az NHK japán közszolgálati adó jelentése szerint.
A bűnügy azért is keltett feltűnést, mert vasárnap érnek véget a japán fővárosban a XXXII. Olimpiai Játékok. A férfi a kihallgatásán elmondta, hogy eredetileg egy bolti eladónőt akart megölni, aki bolti lopáson kapta, és jelentette a rendőrségen.
A támadó azonban rájött, hogy a bolt már zárva, ezért ült föl késsel egy vonatra, és csak miután megszúrta a mellette ülő nőt, jött rá, hogy képes lenne akár több embert is megölni a vonaton. Szemtanúk szerint az egyik kocsiban étolajat öntött a padlóra, és megpróbálta meggyújtani.
Végül néhány órával az eset után besétált egy boltba, és elmondta, hogy ő az ámokfutó. A boltos azonnal hívta a rendőrséget, miután látta, hogy a férfinak véres a ruházata.
Japánban az elmúlt években több, halálos kimenetelű késes ámokfutás is történt. 2019-ben Tokió közelében egy férfi mindkét kezében késsel támadt iskolás lányokra egy buszmegállóban, és két embert megölt, 17 másikat megsebesített, mielőtt végzett magával.
Az azt megelőző évben egy férfi megölt egy utast, és megsebesített két másikat egy vonaton. 2016-ban Tokiótól nyugatra egy mozgássérültek számára épült bentlakásos intézetbe tört be egy korábban ott dolgozó 26 éves férfi; megkötözte az ápolót, és ámokfutásba kezdett. 19 embert megölt, 20 másikat súlyosan megsebesített. Ez volt a legtöbb áldozattal járó ámokfutás Japánban 1938 óta.

Legkevesebb tíz embert megkéseltek helyi idő szerint péntek este egy tokiói vonatszerelvényen.
A Seattle Times azt írja, hogy tíz ember megsérült, miután egy késes támadó ámokfutásba kezdett egy zónázó vonaton a Seijogakuen állomásnál.
Két utas súlyosan megsérült – írja az ABC. Az oldal szerint kilenc sérültet kórházba vittek, egyvalaki a saját lábán hagyta el a helyszínt, minden sérült az eszméleténél van.
A támadó először menekülni próbált, a kését is hátrahagyta, őt azóta elfogták, őrizetbe vették.
A Soranews azt írja, hogy a támadó a késelések után meghúzta a vészféket, így próbált meg menekülni. A vonat ekkor két állomás (Seijogakuen-mae és Soshigaya-Okura) között megállt.
A támadás miatt több utas is előrerohant az első szerelvénybe, hogy figyelmeztesse a mozdonyvezetőt.
A rendőrség egyelőre nem adott ki semmilyen tájékoztatást az esetről. A mentők a helyszínen is láttak el sérülteket, emiatt a Odakyu-vonalon késések fordultak elő.
Tokióban jelenleg is zajlanak az olimpiai játékok, az esemény vasárnap ér véget.
