A tudósítás szerint Mikolajiv Korabelnij kerülete vitovszki rendőrőrsének parancsnokát, bűnügyi osztályvezetőjét és egy rendőr-akadémiai gyakornokot gyanúsított meg csütörtökön az ügyészség „cáfolhatatlan bizonyítékok” alapján azzal, hogy hatalmi és hivatali hatáskörüket túllépve erőszak alkalmazásával megsértették a kihallgatott személy emberi méltóságát. A három rendőr egy bűnügyben indított vizsgálat során idén április 21-én megvertek egy mikolajevi lakost, hogy beismerő vallomást csikarjanak ki belőle, miszerint ő a tulajdonosa egy kriptovaluta-bányászó számítógép-állomásnak.
Az igazságügyi orvosszakértői vizsgálat szerint a sértett a verés következtében könnyű testi sérüléseket szenvedett, ami miatt rövid ideig tartó egészségkárosodás lépett fel nála. Ha a gyanúsítottak bűnössége bebizonyosodik, 3-tól 8 évig terjedő szabadságvesztéssel és 3 éves foglalkozási tilalommal sújthatók.

A rendőrség több embert ölt meg a koronavírus-járvány miatt elrendelt korlátozások állítólagos megszegése miatt Nigériában, mint maga a ragály – tudatta az AFP francia hírügynökség csütörtökön.
Az afrikai országban eddig 12-en haltak meg a járvány miatt, a rendőrség viszont március vége óta már 18 emberrel végzett. A nigériai emberi jogi bizottság jelentése szerint 105 esetben történt rendőri túlkapás a járvány idejére hozott szigorítások megszegőivel szemben, a legkirívóbb a 18 gyilkosság.
A szabályszegést indokként felhozó rendőrök ugyanakkor feltehetően több esetben hazudnak – írja a hírügynökség, amely szerint egy teherautó vezetőjével például szinte biztosan azért végeztek, mert nem volt hajlandó vesztegetési pénzt adni. A 190 millió lakosú Nigériában csütörtökig 407-en fertőződtek meg biztosan a koronavírustól.
