A Nemzetközi Atomenergia Ügynökség (NAÜ) jelentése szerint az orosz katonai akciók megrongálták az ukrán nukleáris biztonság szempontjából fontos transzformátor alállomásokat – számolt be pénteken az rbc.ua hírportál a NAÜ közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a NAÜ ma kora reggel információkat kapott egy orosz katonai tevékenységről, amely a nukleáris biztonság és védelem szempontjából kritikus fontosságú alállomások károsodását okozta. Ezt követően a Dél-ukrajnai és a Hmelnickiji Atomerőművekben dolgozó NAÜ-csoportok arról számoltak be, hogy mindkét erőmű elvesztette a hozzáférést az egyik külső távvezetékéhez.
Ezenkívül a Rivnei Atomerőmű NAÜ-csoportja arról számolt be, hogy az erőmű a hálózat üzemeltetőjének kérésére csökkentette négy blokkjából kettő teljesítményét. Az atomerőmű NAÜ-csoportjának ma reggel több órára a szállodában kellett maradnia. „A nukleáris biztonságot fenyegető veszélyek továbbra is nagyon valósak és állandóak” – mondta Rafael Grossi NAÜ-főigazgató.
Grossi megismételte, hogy a nukleáris létesítmények közelében a maximális katonai önmérsékletre, valamint a nukleáris biztonság és védelem hét szerves pillérének teljes körű tiszteletben tartására való felhívását.
