A román hatóságok kutatási akciót indítottak ukrán állampolgárok után, akik illegálisan lépték át a határt, a művelet eredményeként a rendőrök egy csoport fegyveres ukrán férfit őrizetbe vettek – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a PresaSM román kiadványra és Andrij Demcsenko, az Állami Határőrszolgálat szóvivőjének nyilatkozatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a román határrendészet tájékoztatása szerint pénteken 13:30 órakor egy csoport behatolt az ország területére, és a gyanú szerint előtte megtámadta az ukrán határőrséget. Később az ukrán határőrök megerősítették román kollégáiknak, hogy egy csoport illegálisan lépte át a határt. A támadóknál fegyverek és gránátok voltak. A PresaSM szerint a fegyvereket az ukrán határőröktől vették el.
A szatmári rendőrség kutatójárőröket és helikoptert vetett be a szökevények felkutatására. Több csoport Tarna Mare és Halmi községek határába ment, és a határhoz közeli utcákat lezárták. A román kiadvány szerint két ukrán állampolgár lépett be Románia területére. Sikerült őrizetbe venni őket. Egyikük megmutatta a rendőröknek azt a helyet a határ közelében, ahol a fegyverét hagyta. Egyelőre nem tudni, hogy az ukránok miért támadták meg a határőröket, és miért menekültek Romániába. A határsártők azonban politikai menedékjogot kértek a román hatóságoktól.
Andrij Demcsenko megerősítette, hogy pénteken szabálysértők csoportja megtámadta a határőrség egyik katonáját Kárpátalján. „Megpróbálták megállítani a három határsártőt, amikor illegálisan át akarták lépni a határt Romániába. A férfiak megtámadták a katonát, elvették a fegyvereit és a szomszédos ország irányába menekültek” – tette hozzá.
A szóvivő elmondta, hogy azonnal további osztagokat küldtek az incidens helyszínére, hogy felkutassák a határsértőket és megerősítsék a határ őrzését. A határőrök értesítették román kollégáikat és a rendvédelmi szerveket is.
„Az egyik határsértőt hamarosan feltartóztatták az ukrán határőrök a közelben. Mérnöki akadályokat próbált legyőzni a határátlépéshez. Kiderült, hogy kárpátaljai lakos” – mondta. Azt is megjegyezte, hogy a román fél két másik szökevényt vett őrizetbe. A román határőrök hamarosan megtalálták a támadók által elvitt fegyvereket. „Románia területén dobták el. Az elfogottak megmutatták, hová. Az ukrán határőrök találtak olyan lőszert is, amelyet a támadók szökés közben eldobtak a katonát ért támadás helyétől nem messze” – jelezte Andrij Demcsenko, megjegyezve, hogy jelenleg még folyamatban vannak a minden körülmény megállapításához szükséges intézkedések, és a romániai határőrséggel is folyamatos a kommunikáció.

A Veszprémi Járásbíróság elrendelte a letartóztatását egy 29 és egy 39 éves ukrán férfinak, aki Veszprém belvárosában kirabolt egy közterületi padon alvó embert még július végén.
A Veszprémi Törvényszék honlapjára feltöltött közlemény szerint a két, Magyarországon érvényes munkavállalási célú tartózkodási engedéllyel rendelkező ukrán férfi július 21-én késő este rabolt ki egy közterületi padon hanyatt fekve alvó embert.
Miközben ruházatát átkutatták – épp nadrágjából próbálták kivenni gáz-riasztó fegyverét –, a sértett felébredt, és megpróbált felülni. Ezért a másodrendű gyanúsított lefogta a férfi kezeit, majd a tőle megszerzett fegyver markolatával egyikük két alkalommal, nagyobb erővel fejbe ütötte.
A két ukrán férfi a fegyver elvételét megelőzően a még alvó sértettől ellopta a nyakláncát, személyi okmányait, egy mobiltelefont, egy gázspray-t, valamint egy bankkártyát, majd a bántalmazást követően elfutottak – tették hozzá. A tájékoztatás szerint a sértett nyolc napon belül gyógyuló sérüléseket szenvedett.
A bíróság a gyanúsítottak letartóztatását a szökés, elrejtőzés és a bűnismétlés veszélyére figyelemmel is indokoltnak látta, a végzés mindkét férfinál véglegessé vált – áll a közleményben.

Andrij Meleskov Észak-Ukrajnában született és nevelkedett, később költözött csak az Egyesült Államokba. Nemrég egy brooklyni bárban ünnepelte egyik barátja születésnapját, amikor a 31 éves Oleh Sojma leült az asztalukhoz, és elkezdte sértegetni őt és a társaságot.
A kötekedő ukrán férfi ezt követően azzal vádolta Meleskovot, hogy orosznak néz ki, ő pedig hiába bizonygatta, hogy ukrán. A társalgás eddig a pontig orosz nyelven zajlott.
A társaság viszont a feldühödött férfi megnyugtatásának érdekében átváltott ukrán nyelvre, de ez sem volt elegendő bizonyíték. Oleh arra kérte az asztalnál ülőket, hogy különböző orosz szavakat fordítsanak le neki ukránra.
Majd azt akarta, hogy egy, az orosz anyanyelvűek számára kifejezetten nehezen kimondható szót mondjanak ki.
„Ha elhibázzátok, akkor elbánok veletek” – mondta a férfi.
A társaság ekkor úgy döntött, hogy a konfrontáció helyett inkább fizet és távozik a bárból, a férfi azonban erre egyre dühösebb lett, felkapott két sörösüveget, eltörte őket, majd kijelentette: „Készen állok megölni titeket.”
A feldühödött férfi ezt követően a társaságra támadott, az egyiket közülük pedig nyakon szúrta az éles üveggel. Meleskov szerencséjére túlélte az esetet, 17 öltéssel kellett összevarrni a nyakát, a New York-i rendőrség pedig gyűlölet-bűncselekmény miatt indított eljárást az ügyben.
