Az orosz erők felrobbantották az út egy részét az észak-ukrajnai Csernyihiv megyében, az ukrán–orosz–fehérorosz határ találkozásánál – hozta nyilvánosságra szerdán közleményben az ukrán határőrszolgálat.
Andrij Demcsenko, a határőrség szóvivője az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportálnak adott nyilatkozatában hozzáfűzte, hogy a robbantás kedden történt a Csernyihiv és Brjanszk városok között vezető útnak a hármashatár közelében lévő részén. Szavai szerint az orosz erők vélhetőan az ukrán ellentámadástól tartva, önmaguk és Brjanszk védelmében robbantották fel az utat.
Demcsenko biztosított afelől, hogy az ukrán hadsereg nem szándékozik az oroszországi Brjanszkra támadni.
Olekszij Danyilov, az ukrán Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács titkára közben a Twitteren Ramzan Kadirov csecsen elnöknek üzent azzal a felhívással, hogy Oroszországon álljanak a csecsenek bosszút a csecsenföldi háborúkért, ne az ukránok ellen viseljenek hadat.

Az oroszok hoztak a csecsenek földjére több évszázados rabszolgaságot, meggyilkoltak, megkínoztak több ezer nőt és gyermeket, elpusztították a városokat, és meggyalázták a csecsen ősök sírjait. Nem az ukránok tették Groznijt az ott élő civilekkel együtt a földdel egyenlővé, hanem orosz harckocsik. A csecsen nép emlékszik erre, aki pedig elfelejtette, annak ideje emlékezni!” – fogalmazott a politikus.
