Megrendüléssel búcsúzik az ukrán kulturális élet Szerhij Naumenko költőtől és képzőművésztől, aki a frontvonalon vesztette életét. A 2023 óta szolgáló művész a Zaporizzsjai irányban harcolt, és korábban is megsérült harci feladatok teljesítése közben.
Kiderült, hogy elhunyt barátunk és a slam igazi legendája – Szerhij Naumenko. Még mindig nehéz elhinni, olyan, mintha ez csak egy újabb művészi húzás lenne tőle, egy performansz, egy művészeti aktus. Mintha bármelyik pillanatban megjelenhetne egy üzenet tőle, hogy jól van. Örökre az emlékezetünkben marad – áll a bejegyzésben, amit a „Literaturnij SLAM” közösség osztott meg Instagram-oldalán.
A harkivi származású Naumenko 2023-ban lépett be az ukrán fegyveres erők kötelékébe, hogy hazáját védje az orosz agresszióval szemben. Részt vett a Zaporizzsjai térségben zajló ellentámadásban, és korábban már megsebesült szolgálat közben. Társai és követői szerint nemcsak kiváló művész, hanem bátor katona is volt.

Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök megerősítette, hogy az orosz hadsereg július 1-jén két ballisztikus rakétával csapott le Gulaipol városára, Dnyipropetrovszk megyében. December elején két amerikai tengerészgyalogos veterán halt meg Ukrajna oldalán harcolva a háborúban – számolt be vasárnap az rbc.ua hírportál az Amerika Hangja rádióállomásra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a kaliforniai Ethan Hertweket december 8-án ölték meg oroszok Ukrajnában, mindössze 11 nappal azelőtt, hogy haza kellett volna térnie az Egyesült Államokban.
Graham Dale, egy másik amerikai tengerészgyalogos veterán, aki Írországban született és később az Egyesült Államokba vándorolt ki, december 9-én esett el az orosz erőkkel vívott közelharcban. Unokatestvére Ryan O’Leary, az amerikai hadsereg veteránja, szerint Dale akkor vesztette életét, amikor visszaverte az orosz csapatok támadását, és nem engedte áttörni egységnek a védelmi vonalát.
„Ahelyett, hogy visszavonult volna vagy elbújt volna, belevetette magát a csatába. Dale több ellenséges katonát megölt, mielőtt megsebesült volna. Az ellenséges támadást megállították neki és a vele lévő ukránoknak köszönhetően, akik megakadályozták a vonal áttörését. A bajtársai biztonságos helyre vitték, és megpróbálták megmenteni az életét, de belehalt a sérüléseibe” – tette hozzá.

Két ukrán Mi–8-as helikopter lezuhant egy harci küldetés során Donyeck térségében, korábban 6 halottról szóltak a hírek, de ezt az információt pontosítani kell – jelentette ki csütörtökön Ilja Jevlas, az ukrán fegyveres erők Kelet hadműveleti csoportjának sajtószóvivője az rbc.ua hírportálnak nyilatkozva.
A sajtószóvivő elmondása szerint a tragédia a Kramatorszki járásban történt, de az ok ismeretlen. Vannak azonban információk, hogy abban az időben felszállt egy orosz SZU–35-ös vadászgép felszállt, és ukrán helikopterek leszálláshoz készültek – tette hozzá, megjegyezve, hogy ez az esetleges támadás elleni védelem érdekében történik.
„Igen, valóban volt egy légi szerencsétlenség két Mi–8-as helikopter részvételével. Harci küldetést teljesítettek. Mikor a feladatot végrehajtották, egy ellenséges SZU–35-ös vadászgép volt a levegőben” – ismertette Jevlas.
A szóvivő ugyanakkor hangsúlyozta, hogy a halottak számára vonatkozó adatok még pontosításra szorulnak. „De a 18. különálló hadsereg repülődandárja sajtószolgálatának vezetője már arról számolt be, hogy hat halott van. A nyomozók jelenleg vizsgálják annak részleteit és körülményeit, hogy pontosan mi okozta a légi szerencsétlenséget. A bizottság jelenleg dolgozik. Hogy mi okozta ezt a katasztrófát, az később derül majd ki” – emlékeztetett Ilja Jevlas.

Az orosz csapatok csütörtökön elfoglalták az Odessza közelében található, stratégiai fontosságú Kígyó-szigetet, amelynek az ostroma során 13 ukrán határőr vesztette életét – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál Anton Herscsenko belügyminiszteri tanácsadó Facebook-közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a tanácsadó bejegyzésében azt írta, hogy az orosz betolakodók felajánlották a Kígyó-szigetet védő ukrán határőröknek, hogy adják meg magukat, de ők ezt visszautasították. Hozzátette: ezt követően az oroszok rakéta- és tüzérségi tüzet zúdítottak a helyőrségre, amelynek következtében 13 határőr meghalt és minden épület megsemmisült. Több órás harc után az orosz megszállók elfoglalták a szigetet – konstatálta Anton Herascsenko.
