„Egyelőre ismeretlen okból robbanás következett be az UMDSZ Ungvári Székházával szomszédos telken lévő egykori Ungvári Cipőgyár épületében, amely következtében helyrehozhatatlan károk keletkeztek. Leomlott a tűzfal, az emeletközi födémek is elmozdultak. A környéket sűrű porfelhő és szúrós kénszag terítette be. Kivonult a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Igazgatósága, illetve a mentőszolgálat. A robbanás helyszínétől nem messze tartotta ülését az UMDSZ Ungvári Városi Szervezete, amelyen részt vett dr. Zubánics László, az UMDSZ elnöke és dr. Spenik Sándor, az UMDSZ UMNT elnöke. Szerencsére senki sem sérült meg. Várjuk az illetékes hatóságok jelentését a robbanás okairól!” – olvasható a bejegyzésben.
