Szörnyű baleset történt Pakisztán keleti részén, ahol egy busz egy autópályán egy üzemanyagot szállító kamionnak ütközött kedd hajnalban.
Helyi idő szerint kedd reggel baleset történt Pakisztán Pandzsáb tartományában, amikor egy autópályán egy Lahorból Karacsiba tartó busz egy üzemanyagot szállító teherautónak csapódott hátulról – ABC News.
Az ütközés miatt óriási tűz keletkezett, amiben a kamion és a busz is kiégett.
A balesetben 20 ember meghalt.
A helyi hatóságok azt közölték, hogy a balesetet vélhetően nem technikai hiba, hanem az autóbusz vezetőjének hibája okozta. A sofőr a helyszínen szintén meghalt.
A balesetnek több sérültje is van, őket kórházban ápolják, hat ember állapota válságos.
A halottak azonosítása hosszú ideig fog tartani, mert azok felismerhetetlenségig égtek.
Pakisztánban gyakoriak a halálos közlekedési balesetek a rossz közúti infrastruktúra és a közlekedési szabályok figyelmen kívül hagyása miatt.
