Egy sífelvonó vezetékeibe ütközött, majd lezuhant egy helikopter Oroszországban, a fedélzetén tartózkodó mindkét üzletember életét vesztette – számolt be róla a The Sun. Egy, a balesetről készült felvételen látható, hogy a tragédia előtt a helikopter beleakadt a sífelvonó kábeleibe.
A Robinson R44 típusú gép a kábelek felett próbált áthaladni, a pilóta feltehetően úgy ítélte meg, megfelelő magasságban repül, azonban számítása tévesnek bizonyult. Az ütközés után a helikopter a hossztengelye körül megpördült, ezt követően az orrával a földnek csapódott.
A szerencsétlenség a Permi terület egyik síközpontjában következett be, amelyet az eset után lezártak a látogatók elől.
A helikopteren Iljasz Gimadutdinov, a Tattranszkom szállítmányozási vállalat alapítója, valamint munkatársa, Elmir Konrad utazott. A vállalat érdekeltségekkel rendelkezik az orosz olaj- és gáziparban.
Egyes, meg nem erősített információk arra utalnak, hogy a két férfi nem rendelkezett repülési engedéllyel, más értesülések pedig azt vetették fel, hogy a helikopter egyes alkatrészei a repülés során eljegesedhettek.
