Szombaton, december 21-én, az odesszai állatkertben egy leopárd támadt rá egy dolgozóra, aki a ketrec takarításával foglalkozott. A rendőrök kénytelenek voltak lelőni az állatot.
Szombaton reggel 10 óra körül érkezett a bejelentés, hogy az odesszai állatkert egyik alkalmazottja a ketrec takarítása közben támadás áldozatává vált.
A rendőrök a helyszínre érkezve egy másik dolgozót találtak a ketrecben, aki próbált segíteni a megsebesült kollégáján, de ő is csapdába esett. A két férfi megmentéséhez a rendőrök kénytelenek voltak fegyvert használni, és ártalmatlanítani az állatot.
„A sérült férfit kórházba szállították. A rendőrök vizsgálják az eset körülményeit. A jogi minősítést később adják meg” – olvasható a rendőrség közleményében.

A közösségi médiában több videót is megosztottak az esetről, ami Pakisztán fővárosában történt csütörtökön. Egy háziállatként tartott leopárd megszökött és órákig a főváros utcáit járta, többeket megsebesítve – írta a France24.
„Az első vizsgálatok szerint egy háziállatként tartott leopárdról van szó, és nem vadállatról, a leopárd nagyon megijedt, és folyamatosan üvöltött” – mondta az AFP-nek Tariq Bangash, az iszlámábádi vadvédelmi hivatal igazgatója.
Pakisztán tavaly betiltotta az egzotikus állatok behozatalát, miután az elmúlt években az import sok fejfájást okozott a vadvédelmi tisztviselőknek.
A nagymacskákat a gazdagság és a hatalom szimbólumának tekintik az országban.

Utolsó pillanatban sikerült elriasztania a túrázónak az őt üldöző pumát. A Los Angeles mellett lévő hegyekben túrázó férfi testére kamera volt erősítve, mely rögzítette a támadást.
A támadás a délutáni órákban történt, egy Los Angeles melletti, közkedvelt kirándulóhelyen.
A felvételen jól látható, hogy a férfi egy darabig próbálja lehagyni az állatot, amikor azonban rájön, hogy ez képtelenség, egy elég merész lépésre szánja el magát, és ráüvölt a pumára. Bátorságának köszönhetően végül sikerült elmenekülnie az életére törő vadállat elől.

Kalifornia déli részén, Los Angeles közelében puma támadt rá egy ötéves kisgyermekre, aki a házuk közelében játszott – jelentették a hatóságok szombaton.
Az ötéves fiú a házuk közelében játszott Calabasas településen, amikor a vadállat rátámadt. A beszámolók szerint a fiú életét az anyja menthette meg, aki hallva a fia kiáltozását, kirohant a házból, és puszta kézzel ütlegelte, és rúgta a 30 kilós nagymacskát, ahol érte.
Az állat nagyjából 40 méteren át vonszolta magával a fiút, míg végül elengedte. A gyereket súlyos felsőtesti- és fejsérülésekkel szállították kórházba. Állapota stabil.
Az eset még csütörtökön történt. Egy helyi vadőr később a helyszín közelében kilőtt egy pumát. DNS-teszttel megállapították, hogy ez az állat támadta meg a gyereket. A vadőrök egy másik pumát altatólövedékkel ártalmatlanítottak, de ezt később szabadon engedték, miután meggyőződtek róla, hogy nem volt köze a támadáshoz.

Megsérült egy látogató egy Poltava megyei ökoparkban. A férfire rátámadt az egyik párduc. A hatóságok eljárást indítottak az ügyben.
Az eset Kovalivka településen történt, a rendőrséget az egészségügyi dolgozók értesítették. Mint kiderült, a támadás során a férfi a ketrecben tartózkodott.
A hatóságok még nem derítették ki, miként került a férfi a ketrecbe, az ügyben megkezdődött a bíróságot megelőző nyomozás.
