Tűzoltók mentettek ki 28 embert, akik negyven méteres magasságban fejjel lefelé lógva ragadtak egy oregoni vidámparki játékon. Bár senki sem sérült meg komolyabban, egy személyt elővigyázatosságból kórházba szállítottak, miután az AtmosFEAR játék leállt – közölte a portlandi Oaks Vidámpark.
A SkyNews híre szerint amikor a játék leállt, a park személyzete azonnal hívta a mentőszolgálatot, amely 25 perccel később érkezett meg. A portlandi tűzoltók közölték, az Oaks Park mérnökeivel együttműködve kézzel leeresztették az eszközt a magasból, majd egyenként kimentették az ülésben rekedt embereket.
A park közlése szerint a játék 2021 óta üzemel, és korábban nem történt semmilyen incidens. A mostani baleset után viszont a vizsgálat lezártáig nem indítják újra az AtmosFEAR-t.

Válságos állapotban szállítottak kórházba két sérültet a kelet-spanyolországi Tarragona közelében található Port Aventura vidámparkból, ahol fa dőlt egy hullámvasútra vasárnap.
A park üzemeltetőjének közleménye szerint a rendkívül szeles időjárás okozta a balesetet. A hullámvasút közelében álló fa ágai rázuhantak a kocsik utasaira.
A szerencsétlenségben 14-en sérültek meg. A két súlyos állapotú sérültet mentőhelikopterrel szállították kórházba, rajtuk kívül még hárman szorulnak kórházi ellátásra. A Tomahawk nevű látványosságot a hatósági vizsgálat idejére lezárták, de a vidámpark továbbra is üzemel.
Az El País című napilap úgy tudja, hogy a kedvezőtlen időjárás miatt a park több játéka biztonsági okokból nem üzemelt a nap folyamán, ám a Tomahawkot nem zárták be kis mérete és enyhébb kanyarjai miatt, de az az oka annak is, hogy inkább kisgyerekes családok használják.
Nem ez az első baleset ezen a hullámvasúton, 2009-ban egy vidámparki alkalmazott meghalt, miután a karbantartási munkálatok közben az egyik vagon elgázolta.

Hatalmas tűz ütött ki Németország legnagyobb élményparkjában, a Rustban található Europa-Parkban – számolt be az Index a Bild hétfő délutáni tudósítására hivatkozva.
A lángok több méteres magasságig értek, a gombamód szaporodó füst már messziről látszódott. A szemtanúk először egy furcsa hangra lettek figyelmesek, ami után hatalmas tüzet lehetett látni a park területén.
A tűz kialakulásának oka egyelőre ismeretlen. Három tűzoltó könnyebben megsérült a helyszínen. A tüzet jelenleg is nagy erőkkel oltják, és ellenőrzés alatt tartják – közölte az offenburgi rendőrség.
A parkot azonnal evakuálták, de nem mindenki tudta rögtön elhagyni a helyszínt: egyesek a hullámvasút tetején ragadtak, nekik egy hatalmas lépcsősoron kellett lesétálniuk. Összesen 25 ezer embert evakuáltak, a vidámpark pedig 17:30 perckor bezárta a kapuit.
A 20 Minuten nevű svájci lap úgy tudja, hogy a hatóságok egy helikoptert is riasztottak a helyszínre. Az Europa-Park egyelőre nem tudott részleteket mondani a tűzről.
Németország legnagyobb élményparkja körülbelül 850 000 négyzetméteren fekszik.
2018 augusztusában már volt egy nagyobb tűz a világ egyik leghíresebb vidámparkjában, akkor az egyik attrakció teljesen megsemmisült a lángok miatt. Az újjáépítése több mint két évig tartott – írja a Bild.
Este hét óra körül a vidámpark egyik szóvivője arról tájékoztatta a közvéleményt, hogy a látogatók holnap visszatérhetnek a parkba. Ebből kiindulva azt lehet feltételezni, hogy a lángok nem okoztak nagy kárt, és valóban sikerült őket még időben megfékezni.

Három ember is megsérült egy Chicagótól északra fekvő vidámparkban történt lövöldözésben vasárnap késő este.
A Chicagótól mintegy 72 kilométerre északra fekvő vidámpark szóvivője szerint három ember megsérült, amikor ismeretlen férfiak tüzet nyitottak a parkolóban várakozó emberekre. A lövöldözés után a tettesek azonnal elhajtottak a helyszínről.
A park szóvivője szerint két sérültet további kivizsgálások miatt kórházba szállítottak, egyikük azonban visszautasította az orvosi ellátást – számolt be róla a The Associated Press.
A chicagói WGN News műsorában két szemtanúval beszélgettek, akik elmondták, hogy 19:50 körül sorban álltak egy látványosságnál, amikor észrevették, hogy a vidámparkban tartózkodó emberek menekülni kezdenek valami elől. Miután megtudták, hogy valaki lőni kezdett az emberekre, ők is futni kezdtek, végül épségben kijutottak a parkból.
