A Nemzeti Rendőrség nyomozói eljárást indítottak egy baleset kapcsán, melynek következtében életét vesztette egy jármű utasa.
Az eset a szeptember 30-ra virradó éjszakán történt a huszti járási Visken. A bejelentést követően a helyszínre kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik megállapították, hogy a 21 éves sofőr elvesztette uralmát a jármű felett, s nekiütközött egy kerítésnek és egy oszlopnak.
A balesetben életét vesztette egy 30 éves utas, aki a hátsó ülésen ült, a járművezető és további három utas pedig megsérült. A sofőr eszméletlenül van, az intenzív osztályon kezelik.
Az ügyben tartanak a vizsgálatok. A hírt a megyei rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya közölte.

Július 3-án, hétfőn 6 óra 12 perckor a tűzoltók a huszti járási Visken egy ásványvíz-palackozó üzem területén keletkezett tűzről kaptak bejelentést.
Az előzetes adatok szerint egy körülbelül 1 200 négyzetméter alapterületű raktár lángokban állt. A tüzet 8 óra 15 percre sikerült megfékezni. A tűzoltás folytatódott. A helyszínen 9 tűzoltóautó és 36 tűzoltó dolgozott.
Erőfeszítéseiknek köszönhetően 9 óra 28 perckor a tűzet sikerült felszámolni.

Néhány óra leforgása alatt ketten is bejelentést tettek – Munkácsról és Viskről – a rendőrségre Kárpátalján nagy összegű pénz eltűnése miatt, de a hívások mindkét esetben hamisnak bizonyultak, mert az operatív intézkedések során kiderült, hogy a pénzt egyik esetben sem lopták el – közölte szombaton a Nemzeti Rendőrség Kárpátalja megyei főosztálya a hivatalos honlapján.
A jelentés szerint a két eset ugyanazon a napon történt. A bejelentők jelentős összegek eltűnése miatt hívták a rendőrséget. Az első esetben egy munkácsi lakos fordult a rendőrséghez segítségért. Az izgatott nő elmondta, hogy a valutában tartott pénze eltűnt a lakásból. Néhány órával később hasonló tartalmú üzenet érkezett a Huszti járási Viskről. A település 60 éves lakója 27 ezer amerikai dollár veszteségről számolt be.
Mindkét esetben azonnal a helyszínre vonult a járőrszolgálat gyorsreagáló csoportja és a járási belügyi osztály nyomozó-műveleti csoportja, valamint a műveleti munkatársak. A rendőrség a feltételezett bűncselekmények felderítése érdekében számos nyomozati és kutatási intézkedést hajtott végre: kihallgatták a lehetséges tanúkat, szomszédokat, átvizsgálták a környéket, a legközelebbi térfigyelő kamerák felvételeit, továbbá a szakemberek részletes helyszínelést is végeztek.
A gyors intézkedéseknek eredményeként kiderült, hogy senki sem lopta el a pénzt sem munkácsi, sem pedig a viski lakostól. A nő elfelejtette, hogy elutazása előtt egy másik helyre rejtette el az összeget. A rendőrök a 60 éves viski lakos megtakarítását is megtalálták saját háza egyik helyiségében, nem messze a férfi által megjelölt rejtekhelytől.
A rendőrség ismét felhívja az állampolgárok figyelmét, hogy az ilyen esetek bejelentése előtt győződjön meg azok valódiságáról. Ugyanis minden rendőrségi hívás jelentős elvesztegetett időt és erőfeszítést jelent, amelyet valódi bűncselekmények feltárására vagy olyan emberek megsegítésére fordíthatnak, akiknek valóban segítségre volna szükségük.
A rendőrség ismételten emlékeztetett arra, hogy a szakszolgálatoknak tett hamis bejelentés adminisztratív felelősségre vonással jár a közigazgatási szabálysértési törvénykönyv 183. cikkelyének megfelelően.

A huszti járásban erős esőzések voltak, vihar tombolt, melynek következtében fák dőltek az utakra, valamint több település maradt áram nélkül. Az egykori koronavárosban is több fát döntött ki a vihar, valamint háztetőket, elektromos vezetékeket rongált meg az orkán erejű szél. A legnagyobb kár a viski református templomot érte, amelynek északi oldalán 240 négyzetméteren tépte le a szél a tetőszerkezetét. Az erős esőzés következtében beázott a templom 18. századi kazettás mennyezete, és férfikarának padjai, valamint az építmény belső falai.
