 Az eset egy elhagyatott út mellett, Chynów faluban, Radom és Varsó között, Lengyelország középső részén történt csütörtökön. A pap egy baltával megütötte a hajléktalant, majd benzint locsolt a testére, és felgyújtotta.
  
 Mire valaki észrevette, hogy a férfi teste ég, és segíteni tudtak volna rajta, már belehalt sérüléseibe.
 A pap autóját több szemtanú látta a helyszínen, és a hatóságok pénteken őrizetbe vették. Az ügyészség közlése szerint a két férfi együtt utazott a pap autójában, és összevitatkoztak egy ingatlanadomány miatt, a pap ezután követte el tettét.
 A boncolás kimutatta, hogy a 68 éves áldozatot egy éles tárggyal fejbe ütötték, és testének 80 százaléka megégett. Az ügyészség különös kegyetlenséggel elkövetett emberölés gyanújával indított eljárást a pap ellen.

 Az eset május 11-én történt a Vijszkovo-Morszka utcán. A fiatal és az áldozat között hangos zene miatt keletkezett konfliktus. A férfi többször is figyelmeztette a fiatalt, hogy halkítsa le a zenét, az azonban fegyvert rántott és fejbelőtte szomszédját.
 Az ügyben folyik az eljárás, a vizsgálatok megkezdődtek.

 A jelentés szerint az egyik településen egy ittas 50 éves helyi lakos egy régen elszenvedett sérelmet akart megtorolni élettársa korábbi férjén, akit otthonában keresett fel. A házigazda két vendégével közösen az utcára tessékelte az agresszív férfit. Ekkor az egy RGD-5 típusú kézigránátot vett elő, és ellenlábasaira dobta. A kézigránát szerencsére nem robbant fel, azt a helyszínelő rendőrök lefoglalták, és szakértői vizsgálatra küldték.
 A gonosztevő a kihallgatásán azt állította, hogy a gránátot az út menti erdősávban találta és önvédelmi célból vitte magával, amikor régi vitáját indult rendezni.
 A férfit őrizetbe vették, ellene gyilkossági kísérlet címén indítottak büntetőeljárást a büntetőtörvénykönyv 115. cikkelye alapján.
