Több raklapnyi mobiltelefon gyulladt ki a hongkongi Chek Lap Kok Nemzetközi Repülőtéren – számolt be róla az AirLive. Az eset még vasárnap, a tűzről pedig videó is készült. Az esethez a repülőtér tűzoltóit riasztották, az egységek nagyjából 40 perc alatt tudták megfékezni a lángokat.
Hogy pontosan mi történt, egyelőre nem tudni. A feltételezések szerint a készülékek akkumulátora okozhatta a tüzet, a lítiumakkumulátorok ugyanis könnyen lángra tudnak kapni, ha valamilyen erőbehatás éri őket.
A beszámoló szerint a raklapokon a kínai Vivo telefonjai voltak, amelyeket a Hong Kong Cargo Airlines szállított volna Bangkokba és Thaiföldre. A balesetben senki sem sérült meg.
Az AirPortal szerint a mobiltelefonok szállítására szigorú szabályok vonatkoznak. Az egyik ilyen, hogy a készülék akkumulátorának töltöttsége 50-70 százalékon kell, hogy álljon.
