Megrongálódott a vízre bocsátáskor egy új észak-koreai romboló Kim Dzsongün észak-koreai vezető jelenlétében, aki „nem tolerálható súlyos gondatlanságnak” minősítette a balesetet, amely „foltot ejtett az ország becsületén” – jelentette csütörtökön a KCNA állami hírügynökség.
Szerda este súlyos baleset történt egy új észak-koreai hadihajó, egy 5000 tonnás romboló vízre bocsátása során. Kim Dzsongün észak-koreai vezető szemtanúja volt a sikertelen vízre bocsátásnak és a KCNA állami hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva „bűncselekménynek” nevezte a történteket, amelyeket „nem lehet tolerálni”.
Kim szerint a baleset „megalázta államunk méltóságát és önbecsülését”, és a romboló azonnali helyreállítása „nem csupán gyakorlati kérdés, hanem közvetlenül az állam tekintélyéhez kapcsolódó politikai kérdés” – írja a KCNA.
A KCNA jelentésében nem esett szó személyi sérülésről.
A közlemény szerint a baleset a hajó vízre bocsátásakor bekövetkezett egyensúlyvesztés miatt történt.
A hajótest sérülésének mértékéről nem közöltek részleteket.
A dél-koreai hadsereg szerint a balesetet szenvedett hadihajó a sikertelen indítás után oldalára dőlt a vízben.
Észak-Korea áprilisban már vízre bocsátott egy szintén ötezer tonnás rombolót, szintén Kim Dzsongün jelenlétében. A két új romboló az ország legnagyobb hadihajói.
