Az ukrán katonák kitűzték Ukrajna állami zászlaját a fekete-tengeri Kígyó-szigeten, amit a napokban foglaltak vissza az oroszoktól, akik feladták a tengeri földdarabot – közölte csütörtökön Szerhij Bratcsuk, az Odessza Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció sajtószóvivője Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Bratcsuk, aki fotókat is közzétett a zászlókitűzésről, azt írta: „Ukrajna nemzeti zászlaja a Kígyó-szigeten (Bile falu, izmaili járás, Odesza megye)”. A kitűzött zászlóra az orosz hadseregnek szóló üzenetet is felírtak: „Ne feledd, orosz hadihajó, a Kígyó-sziget – Ukrajna!”, Makszim Marcsenko, Odessza megyei katonai kormányzó aláírásával.
Mint hírportálunk július 4-én beszámolt róla, Natalija Humenyuk, a Dél hadseregcsoport parancsnokságának szóvivője bejelentette, hogy a médiában megjelent információk ellenére még nem vonták fel Ukrajna állami zászlaját a fekete-tengeri Kígyó-szigeten, jóllehet a lobogó már a helyszínen van, de az ukrán hadvezetés várja a csapatok megérkezését.Hozzátette: „a lobogót helikopterrel szállították a szigetre. Megvárja a csapatok érkezését, majd felvonják.”
