Унаслідок несправності та вибуху вантажівки з реактивним двигуном на авіашоу в штаті Мічіган (США) загинула людина.
Трагедія сталася 3 липня під час виступу вантажівки Shockwave на авіашоу Battlecreek Field of Flight через механічну несправність реактивного двигуна, повідомив батько загиблого на сторінці заходу.
Водій транспортного засобу, 40-річний Кріс Дарнелл, помер від отриманих травм приблизно о 13-й годині за місцевим часом.
Інцидент потрапив на відео, адже чимало гостей авіашоу записували виступи на свої телефони. На кадрах чітко видно момент, коли вантажівка вибухає, її шматки розлітаються по всьому майданчику, а потім палають.
«Ми дуже сумуємо. Місяць тому Крісу виповнилося 40 років. Усі, хто його знав, дуже його любили. Крісу дуже подобалося авіашоу. Він казав, що реалізовує свою мрію», – зазначив у дописі Ніл Дарнелл, батько чоловіка, який керував вантажівкою.
