Від наркокур’єрів до експлуатації
Схема вербування працює через пошук уразливих дітей. Банди знаходять дівчат із неблагополучних родин або тих, хто відчуває самотність і шукає підтримки. Спочатку підлітків віком 13-15 років використовують як низових членів угруповання: вони поширюють наркотики, ховають зброю або крадуть техніку.
Загалом рівень підліткової злочинності у столиці Великої Британії б’є тривожні рекорди. Вуличне насильство стає буденністю — суспільство ще пам’ятає моторошний випадок, коли у Лондоні підлітки зарізали хлопця мачете просто в автобусі. Тепер поліція стикнулася з новим, більш прихованим рівнем дитячого криміналу.
Пастка штучних боргів
Згодом ситуація для завербованих дівчат радикально погіршується. Жертви розповіли журналістам, що їх змушували розраховуватися сексом за нібито створені борги перед бандою або за право продавати наркотики. Детектив лондонської поліції Джон Нокс пояснює: у кримінальному світі дівчата перебувають на найнижчому щаблі і просто не мають можливості сказати «ні». Фізична чи психологічна неможливість відмовити трактується правоохоронцями виключно як зґвалтування.
Британська правоохоронна система зараз дуже суворо підходить до покарання за подібні злочини. Суди призначають максимальні терміни ізоляції для ґвалтівників, як це було нещодавно, коли китайського аспіранта засудили до довічного ув’язнення за масові зґвалтування жінок. Реакція влади та перегляд справ

У Сполучених Штатах Америки затримали відомого ватажка перуанської банди, якого звинувачують у двох десятках убивств.
Джанфранко Торрес-Наварро, 38-річний лідер злочинного синдикату Los Killers, нелегально перетнув кордон США в місті Рома, штат Техас, у травні.
Цього тижня чоловіка заарештували в місцевому офісі імміграційної служби в Ендікотті, штат Нью-Йорк.
У Пенсільванії також заарештували дівчину ватажка, Мішель Сол Іванна Ортіс Убіллус, яка, за даними перуанської влади, була «коханкою і бухгалтеркою» Торрес-Наварро одночасно.
Будучи лідером злочинного угруповання Los Killers de Ventanilla y Callao, Торрес-Наварро застосовував безжальне насильство проти конкуруючих угруповань, які шляхом шантажу хотіли отримати прибуток від його основного бізнесу — будівельних компаній.
Чоловік утік із Перу після того, як у березні застрелив поліцейського у відставці та поранив державного службовця в ресторані в Сан-Мігелі.
Торрес-Наварро раніше був членом банди Los Malditos de Angamos (Прокляті Ангамоса). Його також називають Джанфранко 23, маючи на увазі кількість людей, яких він убив.

П’ять обгорілих тіл були знайдені поліцією в Мексиці після зіткнення двох місцевих наркоугруповань. Наразі поліція розслідує масове вбивство.

Владні джерела повідомили, що п’ять тіл було знайдено в п’ятницю на обгорілому автомобілі в Буенавіста-де-лос-Уртадос.
На кадрах, поширених у соціальних мережах, видно, як добре озброєні чоловіки, одягнені у військову форму, складають тіла на задньому сидінні червоного пікапа, в який влучила куля. У деяких жертв відсутні кінцівки або голови, а на деяких немає одягу.
Директорка правозахисної організації „Центр Мінерва Белло” повідомила, що близько 80 місцевих жителів були змушені покинути свої будинки після нападу, а кілька членів громади вважаються зниклими безвісти.
Речник штату Герреро заявив: є докази того, що члени Familia Michoacana напали не на громаду, а на конкуруюче угруповання Los Tlacos, – пише ABC News.
Поліція все ще розслідує ці записи.
