Російські окупанти дійсно знищили один з бойових танків Challenger 2, який Британія передала Збройним силам України.
Про це повідомляє Sky News.
Міністр оборони Британії Грант Шеппс підтвердив знищення танка Challenger 2 в Україні. Він зазначив, що це могло статися „у військовій зоні”.
При цьому Шеппс наголосив, що Британія не надасть заміну знищеному танку.
Вчора у мережі з’явилося відео, на якому видно як танк, схожий на Challenger 2, горить.
Джерела ЗМІ в оборонному відомстві повідомляли, що танк міг підірватися на міні, що спричинило пожежу в задньому паливному баку.
При цьому зазначимо, що танк має дуже гарний захист. А джерело ВВС в одному із західних оборонних відомств зауважило, що екіпаж із чотирьох людей вижив.
