У німецькому Лейпцигу на музичному фестивалі Highfield поблизу озера Штормталер загорілося оглядове колесо. Внаслідок пожежі постраждало близько тридцяти людей.
За словами речниці поліцейського управління Лейпцигу Йозефін Задер, внаслідок інциденту незначні травми отримали понад 30 людей, серед яких четверо поліцейських.

Водночас у Німецькому Червоному Хресті заявили, що дві особи отримали тяжкі поранення. Загалом повністю згоріли дві гондоли. Рятувальникам оперативно вдалося зняти людей з колеса, більшість з них постраждали через чадний газ.
Сам фестиваль після короткої перерви продовжили.

Семеро людей загинули і 35 зазнали травм унаслідок масової бійки, яка виникла на фестивалі, що проводився в індуїстському храмі в східному індійському штаті Бігар, повідомляють місцеві ЗМІ.
Семеро віруючих, зокрема три жінки, загинули під час масової бійки в районі Джеханабад у Бігарі. Вона виникла після того, як влада застосувала силу для контролю натовпу.
Під час бійки в храмі Баба Сідхешвар Натх було травмовано щонайменше 35 людей.
Віряни зібралися в храмі на церемонію освячення, яка щороку проводиться у священний місяць Шраван.
Присутні біля храму повідомили, що через безвідповідальність адміністрації там зібрався величезний натовп. Вони додали, що спочатку виникла бійка між продавцями квітів, у зв’язку з чим правоохоронці застосували «латі» – колючу зброю з бамбука. Однак це лише розпалило інцидент, який зрештою призвів до масової бійки, повідомив журналістам родич однієї з жертв.
Віряни звинувачують у тому, що сталося, владу та адміністрацію, які діяли не відповідно до ситуації, повідомляє Daily Sun.

Двоє людей загинуло та ще троє отримали поранення внаслідок масової стрілянини в кемпінгу біля амфітеатру міста Джордж у штаті Вашингтон у суботу ввечері під час фестивалю електронної танцювальної музики.
Про це, цитуючи офіс шерифа округу Ґрант, повідомляє CNN. Серед поранених – нападник.
Повідомлення про стрілянину на території кемпінгу надійшло близько 20:25, йдеться в повідомленні офісу шерифа у Facebook.
За словами прес-секретаря офісу шерифа Кайла Формана, підозрюваний навмання відкрив вогонь у натовп, після чого втік з місця стрілянини, але поліцейські вистежили його та взяли під варту.
В амфітеатрі міста Джордж проходив дводенний музичний фестиваль під назвою Beyond Wonderland, а кемпінги були розташовані за кілька сотень метрів від місця проведення події.
Влада не надала подробиць щодо підозрюваного, жертв, використаної зброї чи мотиву.
Фестиваль Beyond Wonderland продовжився у суботу ввечері, попри стрілянину, але організатори оприлюднили заяву, в якій вказали уникати певної території кемпінгу. У неділю вранці організатори скасували денні виступи.

Це не перший подібний протест на Каннському кінофестивалі – 2022 року інша жінка вибігла на червону доріжку і роздяглася. На її тілі був напис Припиніть нас ґвалтувати. На дівчині був зображений український прапор – це було відсилання до кривавих подій російських окупантів на окупованих українських землях.
Також минулого року на кінофестивалі виступив Володимир Зеленський за допомогою відеотрансляції з Києва. Фестиваль історично слугує фоном для протестів, але влада Франції готова присікати будь-які перфоманси.

Тиснява виникла під час виступу Тревіса Скотта, коли натовп намагався підійти ближче до сцени.
За словами начальника пожежної охорони Сема Пенья, це викликало деяку паніку і спричинило деякі травми.
Він схарактеризував те, що сталося, як інцидент з “масовими жертвами”.
“Люди почали падати, непритомніти, і це створило додаткову паніку”, – сказав Пенья.
За його словами, причини смертей ще не встановлено. Він додав, що 17 пацієнтів було доставлено до місцевих лікарень, 11 з яких мали зупинку серця. Пенья також уточнив, що одному пацієнтові було 10 років.
Крім того, понад 300 людей звернулися за допомогою до польового шпиталю, створеного неподалік фестивалю.
Начальник пожежної охорони уточнив, що загалом концерт зібрав близько 50 000 людей.
Тревіс Скотт призупинив свій виступ та збентежено спостерігав, як до місця проведення під’їжджає швидка допомога з миготливими вогнями.
Організований Скоттом третій щорічний фестиваль мав проходити з п’ятниці до суботи. Проте офіційні особи заявили, що заплановану другу ніч буде скасовано. Окрім Скотта, на фестивалі мали виступити такі артисти, як SZA, Bad Bunny та 21 Savage.
