Через проливні дощі останніх півтора тижнів кілька річок вийшли з берегів.
Після того як сотні жителів опинилися в пастці у своїх будинках управління з питань надзвичайних ситуацій оголосило найвищий рівень небезпеки в регіоні. Багато людей рятувалися на дахах. Негода триватиме ще кілька днів.
«Минулої ночі рівень води на вулицях упав на метр, потім 10 хвилин ішов дощ, і вода знову піднялася до двох метрів. Ми нічого не можемо зробити, поки злива не припиниться», – поскаржився один із рятувальників.
У 200 населених пунктах закриті школи та адміністрації, оскільки влада побоюється, що подальші опади спричинять зсуви.
Цього року жовтень був рекордно теплим за всю історію Франції, а листопад може стати набільш дощовим.
