Інформації про стан постраждалих наразі немає, поліція затримала двох озброєних чоловіків.



«Постріли пролунали на стоянці біля Юніон-Стейшн, кілька людей отримали поранення, — повідомила поліція Канзас-Сіті на платформі X. – Затримано двох озброєних чоловіків».



За словами командира місцевої пожежної частини Майкла Гопкінса, йдеться про 8-10 постраждалих. Місцевий телеканал КШБ 41 повідомив про десять постраждалих, серед яких є діти. Однак поки невідомо, чи всі вони отримали вогнепальні поранення, чи зазнали й інших травм.



На відео з місця події видно хаотичні сцени перед станцією: поліцейські увірвалися в будівлю, а учасники параду, організованого на честь переможної команди Kansas City Chiefs на спортивному заході, намагалися знайти прикриття.
