Мешканців міста Ємасі, розташованого приблизно за 80 кілометрів на захід від Чарльстона, попросили не наближатися до мавп і негайно телефонувати на 911, якщо їх помітять.
Місцева поліція розмістила попередження на своїй сторінці в соціальній мережі.
«Мешканцям настійливо рекомендується тримати двері та вікна зачиненими, щоб запобігти проникненню тварин, які втекли, в будинки», – йдеться в повідомленні.
Alpha Genesis надає «продукти для приматів і послуги з біологічних досліджень», згідно з її власним описом. Компанія займається карантином, розведенням, утриманням і дослідженнями на більш ніж 100 гектарах землі.
