У п’ятницю в центрі міста Нешвілл, столиці американського штату Теннессі, вибухнуло кемпінгове авто. Неподалік місця вибуху були знайдені людські останки.
Поліція не змогла встановити, чи перебував хтось у фургоні на момент вибуху. Однак через кілька годин після інциденту начальник поліції Нешвіла Джон Дрейк заявив, що поблизу місця події були знайдені можливі людські останки.
Після цього експерти досліджують, чи це справді тканина людського тіла.
Він також зазначив, що за інформацією поліції в результаті інциденту ніхто не загинув.
Також повідомляється, що за кілька секунд до вибуху з фургону було чути звукове попередження про детонацію.
В результаті вибуху щонайменше три людини отримали поранення, а одного з поліцейських збило з ніг вибуховою хвилею. Поліція підозрює, що вибух міг бути умисним.
Місцеві жителі, які викликали правоохоронців місце події, повідомили, що чули перестрілку на вулиці, однак копи не знайшли слідів застосування вогнепальної зброї.
Очевидці чули, як кемпінгове авто транслювало повідомлення «через 15 хвилин вибухне бомба», – повідомив начальник поліції Нешвіла Джон Дрейк.
Для розслідування інциденту в місті залучили місцевий відділок поліції, Федеральне бюро розслідувань (ФБР) та Бюро Міністерства юстиції США, що займається питаннями вибухонебезпечних пристроїв (ATF).
