Медики повідомили, що 10 осіб загинули в передмісті Гази Зейтун, двоє – в передмісті Шеджая на сході, а решта – під час двох окремих атак в Хан-Юнісі на півдні сектора Газа.
Ізраїльська армія заявила, що її війська завдали удару по цілях Хамасу по всій Газі після того, як члени палестинської бойової групи обстріляли її війська, порушивши перемир’я, яке тривало майже шість тижнів. Жодних втрат серед ізраїльських військ не було.

Десятки ізраїльських поселенців пошкодили майно палестинців і напали на ізраїльських солдатів у вівторок на Західному березі, повідомила ізраїльська армія (IDF).
Деякі з екстремістських поселенців були в масках, коли вдерлися на промисловий об’єкт Beit Lid поблизу Наблуса, де, як показують записи камер відеоспостереження, вони підпалили вантажівки, землю та будівлі, серед яких була молочна фабрика. Четверо палестинців отримали поранення під час нападу.
Спочатку нападники підпалили намети в бедуїнському таборі біля палестинського села Дір Сараф. ІДФ повідомила, що силовики розігнали нападників і заарештували чотирьох з них. Потім вони перейшли до сусідньої промислової зони, де пошкодили військовий транспортний засіб і напали на ізраїльських солдатів.
За повідомленнями палестинців, екстремістські поселенці кидали каміння в палестинців і завдали значної матеріальної шкоди. Губернатор провінції Туль-Кармі Абдулла Каміль закликав палестинців створити «захисні комітети». Крім ізраїльської армії, до придушення заворушень були залучені також прикордонна служба та поліція.
Новинний портал ynet раніше повідомляв, що начальник генерального штабу Еяль Замір минулого місяця провів зустріч з командирами дивізії на Західному березі, які попросили його втрутитися, щоб негайно скасувати «адміністративні арешти», тобто утримання під вартою без судового розгляду екстремістських поселенців. Цю процедуру щодо євреїв заборонив міністр оборони Ісраель Кац після свого призначення під тиском міністра фінансів Бецалеля Шмотрича та міністра національної безпеки Ітамара Бенгвіра.
На думку армії, нинішня хвиля насильства частково спричинена тим, що деякі представники уряду мовчазно підтримують поселенців, частково вважається помстою владі за те, що в рамках угоди про обмін заручниками було звільнено 74 палестинських вбивць на Західному березі, а також як відповідь на ліквідацію незаконних поселень.
ІДФ та служба внутрішньої безпеки «Шін Бет» стежать за звільненими палестинськими в’язнями, проводять обшуки та попереджувальні візити, і, як очікується, багатьох з них знову заарештують і ув’язнять.

У Секторі Гази сталася рідкісна подія: сотні палестинців вийшли на вулиці протестувати проти правління ХАМАСу. Через руйнування, спричинені війною, та дедалі важчі умови життя частина населення відкрито виступила проти войовничої організації. Це свідчить, що вплив ХАМАСу, імовірно, ослаб, повідомляє Wall Street Journal.
Демонстрації почалися в Бейт-Лахії під час похорону, потім поширилися на табір біженців Джабалія та Хан-Юніс. Люди розмахували білими прапорами і скандували: «Геть, геть, геть ХАМАС!». Це вперше з початку війни частина палестинського населення відкрито висловила своє невдоволення організацією.
ХАМАС керує Газою 17 років, але ізраїльські операції завдали значної шкоди його очільникам. Чимало лідерів організації були вбиті або змушені втекти через поглиблення гуманітарної кризи, викликаної війною.
Зростаюче розчарування населення та демонстрації показують, що правління ХАМАСу вже не таке стабільне, як раніше.
З початку війни в Секторі Гази загинуло понад 50 тисяч людей. На сьогодні більшість населення живе в умовах постійного переміщення, нестачі їжі та води. Багато хто вважає, що ХАМАС не пропонує шляхів вирішення цих проблем, а радше намагається зберегти власну владу.
На початку протестів ізраїльська влада розіслала жителям Гази текстові повідомлення, натякаючи, що припинення правління ХАМАСу означатиме вихід з війни. У той же час ізраїльське керівництво планує ще один військовий наступ, щоб остаточно перемогти терористичну організацію, що може ще більше погіршити ситуацію.

Уряд Ізраїлю вирішив призупинити процес звільнення палестинських ув’язнених.

Рішення було ухвалене на знак протесту проти негуманної поведінки з ізраїльськими заручниками під час їхнього звільнення в Секторі Газа.
Так, під час процесу натовп оточив автобус із заручниками і не хотів його пропускати.
«Прем’єр-міністр Біньямін Нетаньягу разом із міністром оборони Ісраелем Кацом наказали відкласти звільнення терористів, яких планувалося звільнити сьогодні, – доти, доки не буде гарантовано безпечного проходження наших заручників при наступних звільненнях», – зазначили в офісі Нетаньягу.
Відомо, що палестинські ув’язнені вже знаходилися в автобусах і були готові до звільнення, коли надійшов наказ призупинити процес. Загалом сьогодні планувалося звільнити 110 людей.

Міністерство охорони здоров’я Сектору Гази в четвер заявило, що війна ізраїльської армії проти ХАМАСу забрала життя вже понад 40 000 палестинців.
Згідно з останнім детальним звітом відомства про кількість загиблих, з початку війни в жовтні минулого року загинуло 40 005 осіб. Однак медики та працівники цивільної оборони вважають, що справжня кількість жертв на кілька тисяч більша, оскільки багато тіл, які знаходяться в зруйнованих під час бойових дій будівлях, досі не знайдено.
Унаслідок ізраїльських атак було поранено 92 401 особу, майже 85% населення Сектору Гази, що становить близько 2,3 мільйона чоловік, покинули свої домівки, ідеться в заяві міністерства.
Конфлікт спалахнув після 7 жовтня 2023 року, коли палестинська терористична організація ХАМАС вторглася на південь Ізраїлю, убивши 1 200 осіб і захопивши близько 250 заручників.
Ізраїль стверджує, що 111 людей досі перебувають у полоні, але 39 з них вважаються загиблими. Серед заручників 15 жінок та двоє дітей віком до п’яти років.

Зазначається також, що ще 13 651 людина отримала поранення. Серед загиблих – 37 медичних працівників, а сім лікарень не працюють.
Окрім цього, Армія оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ) заявила, що приблизно 700 тисяч людей з 1,1-мільйонного населення сектору Гази перемістилися на південь анклаву.
Як відомо, відповідні бойові дії розпочалися після нападу бойовиків угруповання ХАМАС на Ізраїль.

За даними ЗМІ, поліція заборонила акцію «через ризик порушення громадського порядку», але організатори заходу заявили, що все одно проведуть його, щоб висловити підтримку палестинцям.
«Ми не будемо замовчувати нашу солідарність з палестинцями, і ніхто не зможе завадити нам провести демонстрацію», – заявила Асоціація палестинців регіону Іль-де-Франс.
