В аеропорту ім. Бен-Гуріона поблизу Тель-Авіва виникла невелика паніка через те, що родина з Америки спробувала вивезти нерозірвану бомбу як сувенір, повідомляє BBC.
За даними правоохоронців, вибуховий пристрій був знайдений на Голанських висотах. Бомба могла залишитися там після шестиденної війни Ізраїлю в 1967 році.
Як повідомляє ізраїльське видання YNet, під час перевірки в аеропорту один із членів родини дістав із рюкзака вибуховий пристрій та запитав, чи можна перекласти його у валізу.
Співробітник закликав евакуювати людей з приміщення, але один із пасажирів не зрозумів про що йдеться та почав кричати «терористи стріляють», що викликало паніку, пише видання.
На відео, опублікованому ізраїльським телеканалом Kan, видно, як десятки людей з криками тікають із зони реєстрації аеропорту. Внаслідок хаосу постраждав чоловік, якого доставили до лікарні.
«Я боявся, що хтось почне стріляти, тому почав бігти, перечепився та пролетів шість метрів», — розповів ізраїльтянин виданню YNet.
Аеропорт ім. Бен-Гуріона вважається одним із найкращих щодо рівня безпеки. Транспортні засоби та пасажири проходять кілька перевірок, перш ніж дістатися до терміналу та зони реєстрації.
В Ізраїлі діє найвищий рівень готовності після кількох атак в країні протягом останніх тижнів, у результаті яких загинули люди.
