Пес Командир, який належить родині президента США Джо Байдена, після переїзду в Білий дім кілька разів виявляв агресивну поведінку й кусав співробітників Секретної служби.
Про це свідчить оприлюднене електронне листування співробітників Секретної служби США, пише Politico.
Командир – дворічний пес породи німецька вівчарка – спричинив щонайменше десять інцидентів у Вашингтоні й Делавері, рідному штаті Байдена, за участю спецагентів, які забезпечують охорону перших осіб у США.
Шість інцидентів пов’язані із серйозними укусами, в результаті яких агенти Секретної служби США звертались по медичну допомогу, два – агресивними інцидентами без укусів і ще два – «грайливими» або «дружніми» укусами.
Щонайменше два укуси сталися, коли Командир був без повідця. Один раз – коли пес був із родиною Байденів після їхнього походу в кінотеатр у грудні 2022 року, і другий – коли перша леді Джилл Байден вигулювала пса в саду в листопаді того ж року.
У листопаді 2022 року Командир вкусив одного агента за руку й ногу, після чого той був змушений звернутись у лікарню. Своїм колегам він написав: «Якби це не був їхній собака, його б уже приспали – довбаному клоуну потрібен намордник».
Білий дім у коментарі Politico повідомив, що сім’я Байденів працює над створенням кращих протоколів для забезпечення безпеки під час поводження зі псом.
