Міністр оборони Німеччини Борис Пісторіус назвав розрив телекомунікаційних ліній у Балтійському морі диверсією. За його словами, акція спрямована проти європейських країн, які підтримують Україну в російсько-українській війні, повідомляє The New York Times.
На пресконференції в Брюсселі Пісторіус заявив, що ніхто не вірить у випадкове пошкодження цих дротів. «Не маючи конкретної інформації про те, хто відповідальний, ми маємо визнати, що це була гібридна акція. Не будучи впевненими, повинні припустити, що це диверсія», – повідомив міністр.
У понеділок фінська державна компанія з кібербезпеки та телекомунікацій Cinia повідомила, що підводна телекомунікаційна лінія, яка з’єднує Фінляндію та Німеччину, розірвана. За даними компанії, оптичний кабель був пошкоджений ззовні. Невдовзі виявилося, що дроти між Литвою та Швецією також обірвані. За інформацією литовської телекомунікаційної компанії Telia, лінія була пошкоджена в неділю вранці. Влада заявила, що розрив порушив передачу даних, але не загрожує можливості підключення до інтернету чи безпеці країн.
Міністерства закордонних справ Фінляндії та Німеччини висловили стурбованість через цю справу. «Європейській безпеці загрожує не лише загарбницька війна росії проти України, а й гібридна війна зловмисників. Захист спільної критичної інфраструктури життєво важливий для нашої безпеки та стійкості наших суспільств», – ідеться в заяві.
Побоювання, що критична інфраструктура, прокладена на дні моря, доволі беззахисна перед можливими диверсіями, посилилися в Європі ще у 2022 році через підрив газопроводів «Північний потік». Інтернет-кабелі, які проходять під водою, є основою глобального зв’язку, і росія вже давно виявляла до них значний інтерес.

Адвокати зброярки фільму «Іржа», на зйомках якого Алек Болдуїн випадково застрелив українську операторку Галину Хатчінс та поранив режисера Джоела Соуза, припустили, що хтось спеціально поклав бойовий патрон у коробку з холостими, щоб саботувати роботу на знімальному майданчику.
Джейсон Боулз та Роберт Горенс, адвокати Ханни Гутьєррес-Рід, зброярки фільму «Іржа», розповіли свою версію, як бойовий патрон потрапив у пістолет.
«Я вважаю, що той, хто зробив це, хотів саботувати роботу на знімальному майданчику, довести свою точку зору, заявити про своє невдоволення. І ми знаємо, що напередодні люди пішли зі знімального майданчика», – зазначив Джейсон Боулз.
«Ми не говоримо, що хтось мав на меті влаштувати трагедію – убивство, але вони хотіли зробити щось, аби спричинити інцидент з безпекою під час зйомки сцени. На нашу думку, сталося саме це», – наголосив він.
Трагедія сталася 21 жовтня під час репетиції сцени із вестерну на фермі Бонанза-Крік у Нью-Мексико. Болдуїн грає головну роль у фільмі, продюсером якого є сам. На знімальному майданчику він ненавмисно бойовим патроном убив операторку та поранив режисера Джоеля Соузу. Помічник режисера Дейв Холлс сказав Болдуїну, що зброя заряджена холостими.
Адвокат також заявив, що Гутьєррес оглянула пістолет, перш ніж передати його Холлсу. Зброярка подумала, що в ньому було шість холостих патронів. Холлс відніс зброю до церкви, де Болдуїн проводив репетицію сцени, додав він.
