 «Унаслідок теракту одна людина була вбита, ще 8 зазнали поранень», – повідомляє іранське інформаційне агентство IRNA з посиланням на заступника губернатора провінції Фарс Ізмаїла Гесселя Шофла.
 На територію мечеті Шах Цераг у Ширазі, де знаходяться мавзолеї кількох шанованих представників шиїтського ісламу, проникли двоє озброєних терористів. Одного з нападників затримали, другий перебуває в розшуку.
 Наразі жодна екстремістська організація не взяла на себе відповідальність за напад.
 Мусульманська святиня вже була об’єктом теракту в жовтні 2022 року. Тоді екстремісти джихадистської організації «Ісламська держава» вбили 15 паломників та поранили ще 40 осіб.
