Розслідувачі проєкту «Схеми» встановили особу лікаря виправної колонії №10 в Мордовії, якого українські військовополонені назвали причетним до катувань.
Як пише Радіо Свобода, йдеться про 34-річного Іллю Сорокіна. Він є співробітником медико-санітарної частини №13, що обслуговує колонію.
Колишні українські полонені впізнали лікаря Іллю Сорокіна, якого звинувачують у тортурах у колонії №10 в Мордовії. За їхніми словами, він не лише не надавав медичну допомогу, а й знущався, бив, використовував електрошокер і принижував полонених. Сорокіна прозвали «Доктором Зло».
Офіцер морської піхоти Павло Афісов свідчить, що той отримував «задоволення» від побоїв. Сорокіна також пов’язують зі смертю полоненого Володимира Юхименка, який не отримав допомоги. Експертиза виявила у нього пневмонію, численні травми та переломи.
Журналісти показали фото й відео Сорокіна 150 колишнім полоненим. Близько 50 його впізнали. Він працював у колонії з 2018 року, а в 2024-му вступив до армії під позивним «Доктор». Попри це, він досі підтримує зв’язок із колонією.
Сорокін заперечує свою причетність, але адміністрація медчастини підтвердила, що він там працював. Через ІК-10 пройшли щонайменше 177 українських військовополонених.

Про всіх ми можемо сказати, що психологічно всі стійкі і всі зраділи, коли побачили, що обмін відбувся

Також він розповів про історію представниці Національної поліції Мар’яни Чечелюк, яку утримували в полоні, катуючи її.
За тими даними, які ми отримали, її катували. Причому як фізично, так і морально. Її декілька разів привозили на обміни і потім повідомляли, що нібито Україна від неї відмовлялися і повертали її назад
– додав Лубінець.
За його словами, росіяни незаконно утримували дівчину, адже згідно міжнародних конвенцій, вона є представниця Нацполіції, вона не є комбатантом.

У Генпрокуратурі США заявили, що четверо російських військовослужбовців викрали та катували американського громадянина в селі Милове Херсонської області у квітні 2022 року.
Сполучені Штати Америки висунули офіційні звинувачення у воєнних злочинах, які були скоєні проти американця, чотирьом військовослужбовцям ЗС рф. Про це йдеться на сайті Генпрокуратури США.
Повідомляється, що американський громадянин, ім’я якого не називається, жив у Херсонській області в селі Милове. У 2022 році російські війська окупували регіон. У квітні підозрювані, офіцери Сурен Мкртчан і Дмитро Будник, а також солдати Валерій і Назар (прізвища не називаються), викрали американця.
За словами Генпрокурора та міністра юстиції США Мерріка Гарланда, росіяни роздягнули американця та кинули його на землю, зв’язавши руки. Потім йому почали погрожувати пістолетом і бити. Після цього жертву відвезли у створену в’язницю, де продовжували допитувати й катувати.
„Били, знову ж таки, пістолетом. Вони били його кулаками в груди й живіт. Вони погрожували розстрілом. Із нього зняли одяг і фотографували. Один із обвинувачених погрожував йому сексуальним насильством”, — додав він.
Також міністр наголосив, що висунуті звинувачення проти чотирьох військовослужбовців рф є першими подібного роду кримінальними звинуваченнями. Таке рішення є важливим кроком до того, щоб усі винні за початок війни проти України понесли відповідальність за свої дії.
„Ці історичні звинувачення є кульмінацією складного розслідування, проведеного ФБР і нашими партнерами, яке охоплює весь світ”, — сказав заступник виконувача обов’язків директора Вашингтонського відділення ФБР Девід Сандберг.
Зазначається, що російським військовослужбовцям висунуто обвинувачення в трьох воєнних злочинах: незаконному затриманні, тортурах і нелюдському поводженні, а також у змові з метою вчинення воєнних злочинів.
У повідомленні йдеться, що в разі визнання винним кожному з росіян загрожує максимальне покарання у вигляді довічного позбавлення волі.

Кількох членів релігійної групи під назвою «Воїни Христа», включно із 15-річним хлопцем, заарештували за підозрою у причетності до смерті південнокорейської жінки віком 20-30 років. Як повідомляє CNN, один із шести підозрюваних – південнокореєць, інші – громадяни США.
Тіло жертви було знайдено в багажнику автомобіля в Дулуті, штат Джорджія, біля популярного південнокорейського спа-центру. Поліцію повідомив родич одного з підозрюваних.
Згідно з обвинуваченням, злочинці тижнями били та морили голодом жертву. Водночас розслідування для встановлення точної причини смерті ще не завершено. Підозрюють, що смерті сприяло недоїдання, адже тіло важило лише 31 кілограмів.
Поліція округу Гвіннетт встановила, що молода жінка переїхала до Сполучених Штатів із Південної Кореї цього літа, щоби приєднатися до релігійної організації.
Правоохоронці також опублікували фотографії приміщення складу, в якому утримували жінку. На значній частині килимового покриття були виявлені плями крові. Ім’я жертви наразі не розголошується.

У звіті йдеться про те, що вбивства часто маскувались як самооборона, наприклад, біля трупів клали пістолет для виправдання своїх дій. За версією слідства, невелика група спецназу вчинила особливо жорстокі вчинки в Афганістані. Окрім убивств, також були поширеними і тортури. Австралія була шокована результатами розслідування.
– Від імені Сил оборони Австралії я щиро і безумовно прошу вибачення за будь-які проступки австралійських солдатів. За версією слідства, деякі військові вирішили влаштувати самосуд. Вони порушували правила, вигадували історії, поширювали брехню та вбивали людей, – заявив командувач Сил оборони Австралії Ангус Кемпбелл.
Розслідування інциденту та складання доповіді про розкриття злочинів, скоєних солдатами, тривало 4 роки.
– Вони мене катували і не давали спати, коли я був під вартою. Коли я заснув, підійшов солдат і вдарив мене ногою по голові, щоб я не спав, – розповів лідер афганського племені Абдул Манан.
– Ми хочемо справедливого судового розгляду, на якому ми також будемо присутніми. Проти нас було вчинено багато жорстокості, – каже один афганець.
