У ніч на понеділок невідомі вчинили акт вандалізму щодо пам’ятника Шандору Петефі у Страсбурзі. Поліція відкрила провадження на основі повідомлень від громадян Угорщини, Постійного представництва Угорщини при Раді Європи та місцевої влади.
Як повідомив дипломат Постійного представництва Чанад Майор, це вже другий подібний інцидент за останні дні: погруддя, розташоване на однойменній площі, зазнало пошкоджень і в ніч на п’ятницю.
За словами дипломата, написи на монументі частково стерли, а бронзову табличку із зображенням поета викрали. Колону, на якій вона трималася, побили в кількох місцях і розмалювали фарбою. Крім того, судячи зі слідів, пам’ятник намагалися повалити. Особи та мотиви зловмисників наразі невідомі.

Постійне представництво Угорщини при Раді Європи на своїй сторінці у соцмережах засудило цей інцидент. У дописі зазначається, що Шандор Петефі є одним із найважливіших символів угорської свободи, національної незалежності та європейських демократичних цінностей. Цей монумент важливий не лише для угорської громади, а й виступає символом угорсько-французьких культурних зв’язків та європейської інтелектуальної спадщини. У відомстві додали, що вже вжили всіх необхідних правових заходів у співпраці з відповідними органами.
Депутатська група «Фідес-ХДНП» в Європарламенті також засудила акт вандалізму. У заяві євродепутатів ідеться, що пам’ятник, встановлений у 2004 році містом Страсбург та місцевою угорською громадою, яку заснували політичні емігранти після подій 1956 року, – це символ не лише угорського ідеалу свободи, а й національної пам’яті та солідарності. Члени групи висловили сподівання, що після реставрації монумент Петефі й надалі гідно проголошуватиме ці цінності у Страсбурзі.

Поліцейські ювенальної превенції Хустського районного управління поліції розшукали дітей, які зіпсували святкову локацію у селищі Вишково. Ними виявилися двоє місцевих мешканців — рідні брати.
Деталі інциденту та розслідування
Після повідомлення про пошкодження фотозони, яка була встановлена для відпочинку мешканців громади, правоохоронці розпочали перевірку. Завдяки злагодженим діям ювенальних поліцейських вдалося встановити, що до інциденту причетні діти віком 9 та 11 років.
Враховуючи вік правопорушників, вони не підлягають кримінальній відповідальності, проте ситуація не залишилася без правових наслідків для їхньої родини.
З хлопцями у присутності їхнього батька поліцейські провели грунтовну профілактичну бесіду щодо неприпустимості подібних вчинків та необхідності поваги до спільного майна громади.
Водночас, за неналежне виховання дітей, на батьків було складено адміністративний протокол за статтею 184 КУпАП (Невиконання батьками або особами, що їх замінюють, обов’язків щодо виховання дітей). Тепер на дорослих чекає розгляд справи в суді та накладення штрафу.
Поліція закликає батьків Хустщини приділяти більше уваги дозвіллю своїх дітей та пояснювати їм правила поведінки в громадських місцях.

Невідомі особи зірвали український прапор при вході до почесного консульства України у польському Перемишлі.
Про це повідомив посол України у Польщі Василь Боднар, пише „Європейська правда”.
У своїх соцмережах посол опублікував фото входу до консульства, де на місці залишився лише польський прапор.
„Хвиля антиукраїнського хейту у соцмережах знову призвела до того, що з почесного консульства України у Перемишлі зірвали український прапор. За цей рік це щонайменш п’ятий акт наруги над прапором у тому ж місці”, – заявив Боднар.
„Публічно та через дипломатичні канали закликаю польську поліцію та МЗС Польщі вжити належних заходів, щоб знайти порушників і притягнути їх до відповідальності”, – додав посол.

Невідомі написали на стінах посольств Угорщини та Словаччини в Сараєві кількість жертв геноциду в Сребрениці, інформують місцеві ЗМІ.
На будівлі дипломатичних відомств нанесли цифру 8372. Це кількість людей, які були вивезені зі Сребрениці в липні 1995 року і страчені.
Під час боснійської війни Сребрениця перебувала під захистом ООН. Війська боснійських сербів захопили місто 11 липня 1995 року і, скориставшись бездіяльністю голландських миротворців ООН, захопили близько 8000 мусульманських чоловіків і хлопчиків, які були вбиті в наступні дні. Цю різанину Міжнародний суд ООН у Гаазі кваліфікував у своєму вироку проти кількох обвинувачених як геноцид. Згідно з офіційною позицією Сербії, у Сребрениці були скоєні жахливі злочини, але їх не можна називати геноцидом.
За припущеннями ЗМІ, будівлі посольств були пошкоджені, бо Словаччина утрималась, а Угорщина проголосувала проти резолюції ООН, яка проголосила 11 липня Міжнародним днем пам’яті жертв геноциду в Сребрениці.
23 травня Генеральна Асамблея ООН ухвалила відповідну резолюцію 84 голосами.

Поборники прав тварин вирішили вдатися до вандалізму, щоб привернути увагу монарха.
Двоє активістів організації Animal Rising, яка бореться за права тварин, внесли „корективи” у нещодавно презентований перший офіційний портрет короля Чарльза ІІІ. Обличчя монарха заклеїли наліпкою із зображенням Воллеса – персонажа відомого й популярного британського мультфільму.
Як пише The Guardian, акція була спрямована проти ферм, які перебувають під патронатом Чарльза. Активісти вважають, що там відбувається знущання над тваринами. Після перевірки 45 таких установ вони знайшли порушення у кожній з них. Загалом зафіксовано 280 випадків неналежного поводження з тваринами.
Вандали обрали мультфільм „Воллес та Громіт” не просто так: Чарльз ІІІ якось зізнавався, що дуже любить цю анімацію. Тож в Animal Rising вирішили оформити свій заклик у формі, яка має знайти у монарха відгук.
Галерея Філіпа Моулда, де розташоване полотно, заявила, що портрет не зазнав суттєвих пошкоджень.

Понад 15 відділень банку Barclays в Англії та Шотландії зазнали актів вандалізму з боку пропалестинської організації. В рамках свого протесту вони закликали банк відмовитися від інвестицій в компанії, що постачають зброю Ізраїлю, а також від підрядників, пов’язаних із видобутком викопного палива.

В Києві на площі Майдан Незалежності чоловік осквернив тимчасово встановлений до відзначення іудейського свята Ханука монумент. Правоохоронці його затримали.
Про це повідомляє РБК-Україна з посиланням на Поліцію Києва.
Співробітники поліції під час моніторингу соціальних мереж виявили відео, на якому було видно, що невідомий чоловік на площі Майдан Незалежності осквернив тимчасово встановлений монумент.
„Працівники Шевченківського управління поліції у співпраці з аналітиками кримінального аналізу встановили та затримали порушника. Ним виявився мешканець Київщини, 1988 року народження”, – повідомили в поліції.
В разі доведення провини, підозрюваному загрожує обмеження волі на строк до п’яти років, з позбавленням права обіймати певні посади чи займатися певною діяльністю.

Поліція заарештувала американського туриста у Музеї Ізраїлю в Єрусалимі після того, як він кинув на підлогу експонати, зіпсувавши дві римські статуї ІІ століття.
Як передає Укрінформ, про це повідомляє Associated Press.
На світлинах з музею видно мармурову голову богині Афіни, збиту із постаменту на підлогу, а статуя язичницького божества розлетілась на друзки.
Музей Ізраїлю назвав акт вандалізму «тривожною та незвичайною подією». За словами співробітників музею, пошкоджені експонати реставрують. Водночас музей відмовився надавати інформацію щодо вартості статуй або розмірів нанесених збитків.
Працівники правоохоронних органів ідентифікувала підозрюваного як радикально налаштованого 40-річного американського туриста єврейського походження. За результатами первинного допиту, чоловік розбив статуї, оскільки вважав їх «ідолопоклонницькими та такими, що суперечать Торі», зазначили у поліції.
Адвокат підозрюваного заперечував, що дії чоловіка пов’язані із релігійним фанатизмом, але додав, що він страждав на психічний розлад – єрусалимський синдром.
Підсудному призначено психіатричну експертизу. Його ім’я не розголошується через введену заборону.
