Триває масштабна пошуково-рятувальна операція з пошуку двох американських військовослужбовців, які зникли в Марокко під час проведення щорічних навчань African Lion 2026.
Зв’язок із військовими було втрачено в суботу, 2 травня, поблизу тренувального полігону Кап-Драа, що неподалік від міста Тан-Тан на південному заході країни.
За попередньою інформацією від Африканського командування США (AFRICOM), інцидент стався внаслідок нещасного випадку, не пов’язаного безпосередньо з військовими маневрами. Повідомляється, що солдати могли зірватися з берегової скелі в океан під час пішої прогулянки (хайкінгу).
До пошуків залучено наземні групи, авіацію та морські підрозділи США, Марокко та інших країн-партнерів. Через інцидент частину запланованих навчань було тимчасово призупинено для перенаправлення ресурсів на рятувальну місію.
У командуванні наголосили, що наразі немає ознак терористичного акту чи викрадення. Імена військових поки не розголошуються до завершення розслідування та сповіщення їхніх родин.
Навчання African Lion є найбільшими щорічними спільними маневрами США на континенті, в яких цьогоріч беруть участь тисячі військових із понад 40 країн.

Під час навчання військ Південної Кореї у місті Пончеон бойовий снаряд впав на житловий квартал, внаслідок чого сталися руйнування та постраждали цивільні.
Як пише Reuters, восьмеро людей зазнали ушкоджень, з них четверо отримали серйозні травми.
Пончеон розташований за 40 кілометрів від Сеула поблизу мілітаризованої лінії на кордоні з КНДР. Ймовірно, боєприпас було випущено в ході спільних стрільб, які цими днями проводять південнокорейська та американська армії.
За характером пошкоджень припускають, що снаряд впав з літака-винищувача, проте офіційних коментарів наразі не надходило.
Наступного тижня мають розпочатися повноцінні масштабні спільні навчання військ Республіки Корея та США, які проводяться щорічно.

Під час військових навчань у Польщі боєприпас рикошетом влучив у житловий будинок.
Про це повідомляє командування ЗС Польщі.
“Минулої ночі на стрільбищі Бемово Піске на полігоні Ожиш під час союзницьких стрільб за участю румунських військових рикошетом пошкоджено будівлю, розташовану поблизу стрільбища. Ніхто не постраждав. Справу розслідує військова жандармерія. Всі збитки будуть відшкодовані в найкоротші терміни”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
Пресофіцер 15-ї Гіжицької механізованої бригади Малгожата Місюкевич повідомила, що в ніч із четверга на п’ятницю на полігоні проходили планові нічні вогневі навчання, передає RMF FM.
“Під час них одна з куль румунського підрозділу потрапила в житловий будинок. На щастя, ніхто не постраждав, ніхто не постраждав “, – сказала капітан Місюкевич.
Вона додала, що інформації про те, чи були в будинку на момент попадання снаряду мешканці, немає.
На місце аварії виїхав мер Бемово Піске, також там працює військова поліція, яка розслідує справу. Місюкевич запевнила, що всі збитки, завдані цією подією, компенсує армія.

У невизнаному Придністров’ї 22 грудня лунали постріли – з’ясувалось, що стріляли військовослужбовці розташованого там контингенту російських військ.
Про це повідомило молдовське видання Newsmaker.
Постріли було чути поблизу сіл Гиска і Коржова на лівому березі Дністра в рамках несанкціонованих навчань. Стрілянина тривала близько 40 хвилин, підтвердив порталу Zona de Securitate глава делегації Молдови в Спільній контрольній комісії (СКК) Серджіу Головач.
СКК – спільна військова командна структура з Молдови, Придністров’я та Росії, яка діє в демілітаризованій зоні на кордоні між Молдовою та Україною.
У Бюро реінтеграції повідомили Newsmaker, що порушать питання про те, що трапилося, на наступному засіданні CКК.
„Ми порушимо це питання на засіданні CКК, під час якого делегація Молдови підтвердить свою незмінну позицію щодо неприпустимості односторонніх військових дій по периметру Зони безпеки, які можуть викликати дестабілізацію ситуації в регіоні і паніку серед населення”, – заявили у відомстві.

У Німеччині проведуть найбільші в історії НАТО повітряні навчання, у яких візьмуть участь 10 тисяч осіб і 250 літаків із 25 країн.
Навчання з розгортання повітряних сил Air Defender 23 планувалося кілька років, але їхня реалізація стала актуальною через вторгнення Росії в Україну.
«Навчання продемонструють спритність і швидкість союзницьких сил у НАТО як сил першого реагування. Я була би дуже здивована, якби хтось зі світових лідерів не взяв до уваги те, що це демонструє з точки зору духу цього альянсу, а значить і сили цього альянсу. Це стосується і Путіна», — заявила Посол США в Німеччині Емі Гутманн.
Навчання проходитимуть у трьох секторах повітряного простору Німеччини з коридорами, що ведуть до Естонії та Румунії.
Представник ВПС Німеччини Інґо Ґерхарц повідомив, що навчання НАТО можуть вплинути на цивільну авіацію та спричинити шум. Він попросив терпіння у тих, хто живе поблизу проведення повітряних операцій, на найближчі десять днів. Офіцер також зазначив, що навчання будуть завершені до початку літніх шкільних канікул.
Air Defender 23 триватиме з 12 до 23 червня. Учасники навчання реагуватимуть на імітацію нападу на країну – члена НАТО. Лише Сполучені Штати відряджають 2 тисячі військовослужбовців ВПС Національної гвардії США і близько 100 літаків. Серед учасників і новий член НАТО – Фінляндія, кандидат на членство – Швеція, а також та Японія.

Мобілізований мешканець Тернополя загинув через чотири дні після прибуття на фронт, в результаті чого в соцмережах спалахнув скандал. В Тернопільському обласному Територіальному центрі комплектування пообіцяли провести перевірку.

Що відомо
З інформації в соціальних мережах стало відомо, що мешканець Тернополя Богдан Покітко в другій половині січня отримав повістку. Після чого пройшов комісію та був призваний на військову службу до Тернопільського об’єднаного міського ТЦК. 12 лютого Покітко був переведений на фронт, де й загинув через 4 дні.
Нині ж знайомі та рідні загиблого звинувачують військкомат та мера міста в нібито недостатній підготовці солдата.
Що говорять в військкоматі
„Командування та особовий склад територіальних центрів комплектування та соціальної підтримки Тернопільської області приносить щирі співчуття рідним та близьким загиблого солдата Богдана Покітка, який проходив службу в Тернопільському міському ТЦК СП та був частиною нашого колективу”, – заявили в ТЦК.
Щодо призову солдата Покітка в центрі комплектування повідомили, що відповідно до медичної комісії та уточнення даних він був придатним проходити військову службу в лавах Збройних Сил України, тому був призваний на військову службу по мобілізації до Тернопільського об`єднаного міського ТЦК СП на одну із посад в роту охорони.
„12 лютого Покітка було переведено до нового місця проходження служби, де він загинув внаслідок бойових дій 16 лютого 2023 року”, – пояснили в центрі.
Наразі у Тернопільському ТЦК призначено службову перевірку, за результатами якої буде встановлено осіб, які відповідали за підготовку та навчання особового складу.

НАТО заявило, що розпочне щорічні ядерні навчання «Steadfast Noon» у понеділок, у яких до 60 літаків візьмуть участь у тренувальних польотах над Бельгією, Північним морем і Британією.
Як пише Reuters, Навчання проводять аби відпрацювати використання США ядерних бомб, розташованих в Європі.
Ядерні навчання, в яких не використовуються бойові бомби, відбуваються на тлі підвищеної напруженості після того, як Росія неодноразово погрожувала завдати ядерних ударів по Україні після серйозних військових невдач на полі бою.
«Стійкий полудень», ймовірно, збігається з власними щорічними ядерними навчаннями Москви, які отримали назву «Гром», які зазвичай проводяться наприкінці жовтня і під час яких Росія випробовує свої ядерні бомбардувальники, підводні човни та ракети.
НАТО водночас заявило, що західні навчання не були викликані останніми напруженими відносинами з Росією.
«Навчання, які триватимуть до 30 жовтня, є звичайними, регулярними навчальними заходами і не пов’язані з будь-якими поточними світовими подіями», — заявив альянс на своїй вебсторінці, додавши, що бойова зброя не використовуватиметься.
«Ці навчання допомагають гарантувати, що ядерне стримування альянсу залишається безпечним, захищеним і ефективним», — заявила речник НАТО Оана Лунгеску.
Бельгія приймає навчання, у яких візьмуть участь 14 країн і до 60 літаків, включаючи найсучасніші винищувачі на ринку та американські дальні бомбардувальники B-52, які прилетять з авіабази Майнот у Північній Дакоті, йдеться у заяві.
У вівторок глава НАТО Єнс Столтенберг чітко заявив, що альянс продовжить свої навчання, незважаючи на напружену міжнародну ситуацію.
Скасування навчань через війну в Україні дасть „дуже неправильний сигнал”, сказав він журналістам, стверджуючи, що військова сила НАТО є найкращим способом запобігти подальшій ескалації напруженості.

Південна Корея та ВМС США почали спільні військові навчання біля східного узбережжя азіатської країни через день після останнього випробування ракети Північною Кореєю. В операції беруть участь американський атомний авіаносець і кілька винищувачів.
ВМС Південної Кореї заявили, що вони мають на меті використати чотириденні навчання, щоб сигналізувати про альянс між Сеулом і Вашингтоном, який достатньо сильний, щоб «відповісти на провокації Північної Кореї».
В операції бере участь понад 20 американських і південнокорейських військових кораблів. Американський атомний авіаносець «USS Ronald Reagan» увійшов у портове місто Пусан у п’ятницю, щоби вперше за п’ять років взяти участь у спільних навчаннях у водах Корейського півострова.
У військових навчаннях також візьмуть участь американські та південнокорейські військові літаки.
Це перші спільні військові навчання з 2017 року, в яких бере участь американський авіаносець, оскільки останніми роками союзники скоротили ці операції, сподіваючись на успіх міжкорейських переговорів, а також через епідемію коронавірусу.
Цього року в Північній Кореї почастішали ракетні випробування: із січня було випробувано понад 30 балістичних ракет малої дальності, а також – уперше з 2017 року – міжконтинентальна зброя.

Британські війська взяли участь у військових навчаннях під кодовою назвою Vigilant Knife, які проводяться спільно зі збройними силами Швеції та Фінляндії.
Військові навчання проходили з 29 серпня до 2 вересня в Рованіємі і Роваярві на півночі Фінляндії. У першому повідомленні зазначалось лише, що шведи та фіни проведуть навчання разом, однак зараз Міністерство оборони Великобританії повідомило, що вони також взяли участь у Vigilant Knife.
Згідно з цією інформацією, навчання слугували зміцненню співпраці між арміями, оскільки і Швеція, і Фінляндія претендують на вступ до НАТО. Навчання також були організовані у відповідь на російсько-українську війну, оскільки конфлікт посилив занепокоєння щодо російської агресії в Європі.
Британський міністр оборони Бен Воллес заяваив: «Поки Європа перебуває у стані війни, нам як ніколи важливо зміцнювати наше міжнародне партнерство. Ми вітаємо заявку Фінляндії та Швеції на вступ до НАТО і ми продовжуватимемо працювати разом, щоб бути готовими до спільних викликів безпеці».
